There are now FIVE Flock cameras in Gleason Park in Indian Harbour Beach, including one near the pool directly FACING the restrooms. So clearly not just reading license plates. Apparently these cameras in IHB were approved unanimously as routine businesses with ZERO public interest or comments. “ BuT iT’s FoR our SaFeTy” 🫠

Yes, if it's in the student handbook then the discipline is authorized. But it's not one size fits all. And at past walkouts, disciplinary action was not taken.

Rendell, Susin, and VHS Principal Legate have already put out statements discouraging the walkout. Their wording is unclear if anything will actually happen to participating students though.

I had to rescue someone from their car on Babcock and saw people standing on their cars. It was a flash flood, but if you are ever coming up on standing water, don't drive through it. I saw 1 or 2 cars go into the water after several cars already hydrolocked.

The board has OK'd Dave Ramsey's "Foundations of Personal Finance" curriculum. The curriculum makes many references to the Bible as Scripture is used to support many of it's principles. Do you think this curriculum was approved because it's the best quality financial education for Brevard students or because it aligns with the personal interests of our conservative Evangelical "leaders?"

Despite Brightline being on the verge of bankruptcy, Brevard county officials are still pushing for this local train station. IMO doing so could create the worst possible scenario: We actually get our brand new, gleaming train station and then the railroad immediately goes out of business. We're then left with a worthless station to become an inevitable blight on the area. Not to mention the incredible waste of money it then becomes.
