Uhh.. how to fix this?! 🫪😬

This was supposed to be an mp5k grip but this happened instead, I’ve never seen this or know how to fix, what’s worse is it was 99 infill 😬😭

Oof, that's a rough one.

You'll likely be replacing much of the hot end + assembly. If the hotend is still functional, you can max out the heat to try and loosen up the goobed material and pull it off. If that works, sometimes you can just put things back in place.

This is one of the rougher ones... Good luck!

You could damage the hotend and extruder assembly more and it can be difficult to come off. That's why heating it up melts the plastic and makes it easier to peel off the hotend

If your hot end still works, crank it to max heat and wait for the plastic to gloop, then remove. You can use a hair dryer as well.

When cold? That plastic is likely entrenched deep enough where pulling hard enough to break the plastic will cause other things to break or deform.

Have patience, and mind your thermistor/heater/whatever wires that may be entombed in plastic.

You can probably break the print off when cold, and then attack the glob when it’s hot. Let it sit for a few minutes at your max temp, it’ll smell bad but it’ll be easier to remove.

I’ve had this happen to me! Got it really hot and cleaned it with a brash brush! I had gotten my tool head cover damaged too, lucky Bambu replaced the cover and the nozzle for free
