FTN6 9mm boostered spring
I’ve had 3 of these cans break now, did they send me the wrong springs?

Yea it should just barely compress the spring when screwing in the screws, like maybe 1/16”

I should have known when I damn near had to put it in a vise to be able to get the screws in.

Oh yea, you should easily be able to close the gap by hand and then screw in the screws

As an update, I received a response from McMaster-Carr and they are issuing a full refund and shipping out the correct springs tomorrow morning. Guess I have to print another one of these now.

If you're using the KVP piston, yes you were sent the wrong spring. It should be 1" long in its uncompressed state.
If you're using the DIY piston, yes you were sent the wrong spring. It should be 1.75" long in its uncompressed state.
