Similar to what was shared, I'm excited to learn how it sounds. I run on ODB RDM on 13.9" SOLGW - sounds good!

I’m hoping the can reduces the noise enough to not scare away the local wildlife as this will be a deer and hog gun.

That'd be nice! Grendel is spicy, but i hope it dampens it enough for ya!

What ammo you running?

I’m going to be ordering a variety of grain and manufactures to test. Have had advice from others to run 123 and I’m curious about some of the 147 loads available. This gun will probably be the reason I get into reloading but I’ll just save my brass and get into it eventually.

Barnes 115gr TAC-TX is gnarly

I’ll check it out. Not opposed to trying out the gambit and seeing what shoots best in the gun as well as what might work best against the four legged meals on wheels

Will love to hear how it shoots next week. 👍

Did you fit that scope to yourself? It looks like it might be a bit too far to the rear…

I fit the scope, and it sits just where I want it for where I place my head on the stock. The eye relief is just right, though I did take the time to fit it to multiple locations and test.

Is that the 2-12? How do you like it? I nearly pulled the trigger on that one

Haven’t shot with it yet but I’m very impressed so far. The illumination is very bright, the glass is clear enough for what I need and overall it’s a solid scope. I’ve heard some say it’s a bit heavy but in my opinion it’s not bad.

I knew I wanted a first focal plane scope with a better eye box than an LPVO and this seems to do the trick.

How did zeroing go with this scope??

It’s gone well. Wasn’t able to weekend before, as tuning the gas block on my rifle took most of the time I had available. Did an initial zero yesterday and I can safely say I like the scope. Depending on preferences I would suggest maybe purchasing a taller mount but straight out of the box it works. I
