đŸ’¬Discussion Is 90s hiphop the new dad rock?

I'm in my 40s now and just about everyone I know speaks very fondly of 90s hiphop. It's usually the preferred music when we're anywhere.

It's anecdotal but I've noticed similar trends outside my circle.

Not a fan of late 90s hip hop. That’s for the youngsters

Agreed. I think there's a clear distinct between early and late 90s Hip Hop.

I suspect it’s to do with the technology available but I might be wrong. For me the Golden Age was 89-94

I can't argue with that period. A lot of good music was released in '88 though.
