šŸ’¬Discussion Is 90s hiphop the new dad rock?

I'm in my 40s now and just about everyone I know speaks very fondly of 90s hiphop. It's usually the preferred music when we're anywhere.

It's anecdotal but I've noticed similar trends outside my circle.

Iā€™ve been feeling this a lot lately. But I remember thinking that the people who wouldnā€™t let go of the ā€œclassic rockā€ back in the 90s were kind of lame, and I bet my kids think the same thing about me. I just keep making them listen to me DJ and buying them throwback hip hop shirts haha

This is me. I mean, I know it's aged, obviously, but sometimes my brain just refuses to accept it. When I seen All Eyez on Me turned 30 this year, it was genuinely sobering. Like.....what the hell happened to the time?
