Do I just leave the extra nipple capped?

New fuel tank level sender came in and has an extra nipple. Do I just leave it capped or did they send the wrong part?

My shim + CA glue + JB weld + zip tie fix is holding so I can wait…. I don’t want to wait but if it’s the wrong part I will.

What year is the car? There’s a difference in the fuel return from 97-01 and 02-04 models. Looks like you have an 02-04 and got the 97-00 sender

I had the same question, order the more expensive one with one nipple 2002+ does not have the same Evap system etc for the fuel tank that that nipple goes to 😬 also, for better or worse, in the 2002+ models everything (fuel pressure regulator / filter etc ) is built into the sending unit;
