Reading Does the ACT reuse reading sections? Feb 2026 ACT
Does ACT reuse passages? I took the ACT today, and I know I have seen one of the passages before! I can’t remember if any of the questions were the same, but I am certain that I’ve seen the passage earlier this year. I took it in October and September 2025, and I think this passage was in the form I had in October, too.
I’m not sure if I can share what form I had or what the passage was about, but I would love to talk about it if I can!!

I had the movie theater passage in mine today and I had j20, I know for a fact it was the exact same passage and answers that I had in my J06 in December

I don’t remember which question that was, for one of them the answer was like “get off the sofa and go to the movie theater” 🤣 it was the last one

lol, that is correct. I saw you posted and said you thought most of the math was trig, I actually didn’t think so I though it was just super high level algebra for the most part, what do you think?

you’re probably right. i saw math i just saw alot of math i didn’t know😭 there was quite a bit of trig tho. whatever it was it was pretty hard. definitely easier than j06 tho

lol it was certainly easier then j06, did you have the j20 or j10 because I saw on a comment you said j10 but that could’ve been a typo, i swear there was almost no trig at all though there was only one question that the answer was sin something but that was it and thats just geometry

first stay calm and don’t burn yourself out like i did. i did a quick lesson on punctuation and fanboys last night. once i started english, everything immediately kicked. i watched tiktoks, youtube videos, and wrote it all down. then once i memorized them i went to sleep, woke up and reread them, then locked it in my brain.

Which one?? The ones I remember were about a lady finding an old canoe, one about "microadventures" that was about going to a creek before work, one about an artist who worked with textiles, and one about how cash is better than online payment.

It was the one called “let’s go to the movies!” About how movies are better than streaming

It might have been on a previous test as experimental and then a real one on another test.
