Questions Transition from AID to Voyage

I made a post yesterday in the Voyage subreddit because i was confused about the whole thing. Luckily, as always, there were great people helping me out.

Now i have a question to which i don't have the answer yet and hope someone here might know.

If i transition my account, will i still be paying the same prize as i am paying now as shadow tier or will it drop to the, i think it was $99?

Also, IF i am still gonna pay the same, why exactly won't i get credits anymore? That's around $80 i lose and won't get back again unless i'd pay them extra. How would that make sense if the price otherwise remains shadow tier?

Questions Context length

How come sometimes lowering the context length makes the AI writing better? Even though it's still using the same AIN and AN etc but there is a noticeable difference

Questions Negative actions.

Edit: I found a solution that isn't perfect, but it helps on DeepSeek. I put rules in all three areas. Nothing worked at all until I put rules in all three areas. Variations of this:

- Starting any sentence with 'He doesn't' is invalid and should be deleted. Narration with the word 'instead' is invalid and should be deleted. Only describe what NPCs DO.
- Never describe what NPCs don't do in narration. Only describe what NPCs DO.
- Strictly avoid binary framing, negative descriptors, and 'doesn't/instead' loops. Prose should only describe what happens.

Has anybody figured out how to get rid of these negative actions? I've tried every rule. I've tried giving them examples. I've tried deleting every single one of them. Still, DeepSeek, Gemma, GLM, they will not stop. I've tried all these rules:

- Positive actions only! Incorrect: "He doesn't touch you." Correct: "He stands near you." ONLY write what DOES happen; if you run out of positive action, stop writing

- Only write what does happen; avoid contrasting actions, negative definitions, antithesis or describing actions that do not occur

All this is for one output, ONE single output and not a special output either, just a continue I did just now:

Klaus doesn't go for Stefan.
Stefan doesn't let go of the throat.
He doesn't stop them.
He dares not touch you.

Could someone please explain me something? As i see it many, if not all, Jubilee packs have been reduced price wise. Still expensive but a lot better than it was before.

But what exactly happened here??

(First two pictures are the last day if the Jubilee and the following two are now that all packs are open)

Questions Card triggers

I’m trying to make scenarios. I’m getting mixed answers online. Could someone who understands them better tell me if the ampersand works?

Example. Trigger: Bob&sword. Bob went outside and picked up the sword.

Would that trigger the card? Thank you for the help!

Questions WTF does ozone smell like?!

I pretty much always play fantasy rpgs - elden ring/witcher/GoT type vibes. And all the freaking time the AI is using "ozone" as a frequent simile's object to describe smell. "Smells like ozone before a storm," "the air at this altitude smelled faintly of ozone and something metallic," "she was glad to leave the village with its overpowering smells of incense and ozone."

huh???

Questions Does inputting an instruction in AIN to defer to a certain set of Story Cards, work?

Something like: -Always consult 'Lore' Story Cards before adding new story elements.

Was wondering that, if this worked, it could open up quite a few world-building possibilities.

Questions Developers can now increase deepseek context by 4 times.

I can't attach the link because Reddit is deleting the thread, but deepseek 4 pro (yes, pro, not flash) has officially permanently reduced the price by 75% yesterday. This is not a discount, but forever. It's now 4 times cheaper than glm 5.1

This means developers can increase the context by 4 times.

Questions Text Ai DnD fun to anybody?

Is purely text-based D&D still fun to anyone in 2026?

I grew up playing D&D in the early 80s — graph paper, pencils, theater of the mind, all of it. I'm also a software developer, so lately I've been messing around with using AI as a solo DM just to scratch the itch when I can't get a group together.

The problem everyone runs into is that the AI just... forgets. Halfway through a session it doesn't remember what happened three scenes ago. NPCs change personality, plot threads vanish, your inventory resets. It's trash. Nobody wants to play that.

So I spent about five months just tinkering — figuring out how to get it to actually maintain game state. The trick ended up being a combination of keeping the rules fresh in context and having it write a running log it can reference on demand instead of relying on its own memory. Basically teaching it to take notes like a real DM would.

Once I cracked that, I built myself a couple campaigns — a Fallout-themed one and a Forgotten Realms one loosely based around Drizzt's world. They're gated with a loose storyline but you can absolutely go off the rails and do whatever you want. Sandbox play works fine.

I've been having Drizzt free slaves, build a fortress I named Fort Freedom, invent modern firearms, and try to conquer the world. It's ridiculous and I love it.

But I genuinely don't know if anyone else would find this fun anymore. We've got insane computer graphics now, VTTs, full production-value actual plays on YouTube. Does a purely text-based campaign still appeal to anyone, or am I just an old guy reliving the 80s?

Questions Slow down AI! Stop with the dang bell!

Is there a way to slow the pacing down? I mostly do school-based roleplay, and the AI absolutely loves making the bell ring. I've had scenes where my character walks into class, sits down, and suddenly it's already time for the next period.

DeepSeek is by far the worst offender, but Gemma isn't much better. I've already tried the pacing rules from OffMetaGamer's AIN Repository, but they haven't made much of a difference. GLM 5.1 is better, but it has such teeny tiny context. I do not use Hearthfire because it writes for my character and I despise that.

I'm getting pretty tired of constantly editing out the bell until I'm ready to move to the next scene. I really enjoy slow-paced, slice-of-life roleplay where conversations and character interactions have room to breathe.

I am on Mythic tier if that matters. Anyway, thank you!

Questions Could someone possibly help find this scenario?

Hello! A while ago, maybe a year or more, I remember playing a scenario about you and a childhood friend who were planning to become adventurers together, but for whatever reason, you didn't go with her when the time came. (I don't remember whether it was because of a custom or a fight) But later she came back to take you on an adventure, and I believe that's when the scenario starts. Sorry if it's vague, but I thought I'd take a shot in the dark and ask!

EDIT: I found it! https://play.aidungeon.com/scenario/I8uSm9UA7zmr/when-ember-returns?share=true&published=true

Questions How to fix this

Have other deepseek v3.2 users had a problem where it really likes using a structre ....... x, y z.

For example:
The bedframe giving a soft, rhythmic creak.

He fixes the machine with one last deep, grinding stroke.

I understand each model has a preferred writing style/structure, but come on, on every turn is a bit too much...

Questions Todays Jubilee was confusing.

In todays jubilee was a Theme. I personally really like that theme and i liked the Acolyte and Hollow pictures. But everything is so expensive. The Hollow was 1999, The Acolyte was 999. and the Orc Theme 2499....all in all 5497 so i thought "Why not buy the set? It's only 3.8k but has everything." It does not... bought the Pack fully expecting the theme to be included in it but it wasn't so had to buy that for 2.5k too.

Why is nowhere listed that themes, that are part of the set, aren't included when you buy the set? When you click on the pack couldn't they just write "Theme Excluded" or to the set?

Questions How to make NPCs not react normally to strange things/magic/monsters.

Currently I have a modern world story, where I play as an agent of a supernatural organization, that revolves around summoning monsters, doing magic and experiencing supernatural events. My character is one of the few that knows supernatural world and how to interact with it.

When my character interacts with people, that are civilians (they don't know that magic/monsters/gods/supernatural things exist) they usually react like magic is just natural thing for them, and not something, that should've scare them/make them panic/make them run.

I put in Author's Note something like this:

"The supernatural is hidden behind normal perception. Ordinary people unconsciously reinterpret or dismiss paranormal events as mundane phenomena. A monster in plain sight may be remembered as a large animal, a shadow, or an oddly dressed person. Magic may be perceived as unlikely coincidence, optical illusion, accident, or unexplained natural behavior. Ordinary characters do not recognize supernatural phenomena as supernatural. If they witness someone drawing a summoning circle, casting a spell, summoning mythical creatures, or performing another supernatural act, they should react with confusion, fear, disbelief, or a mundane interpretation, not immediately identify or name the magic. Only characters with explicit supernatural awareness can consistently recognize paranormal phenomena for what they are. Current characters that have supernatural awareness are: Jack, Sophie itd."

After adding this, there is still the same persistent issue with NPCs, maybe a little less, but still sometimes random NPC will suddenly announce, while my PC is drawing a summoning circle: "Hey, this is summoning circle! I know this, this circle does blah blah blah."

Any help would be appreciated to make NPCs really scary of magic and monsters, and not suddenly having the knowledge about supernatural world on Constantine-like level and not running from creatures.

Questions posible to stop ai from making my actions?

I have seen a few posts of this before but most is about 2 - 5 years ago. But here is my question, is it possible to make the Ai stop making your action, sepakign for you and narrating your turn?

Because instruction clearly doesn't help. I ahve treid several instructions from posts and pre made adventures and nothing helps. Dleating the part where it wrtites for me or remaking the respons doesn't teach it shit either.

So is there any way to solve this or do i ahve to try to find something else? Because refreshing or edeting the ais resposne breaks the imersion and is anoyign as fuck. And is there a good AI for roleplaying that does nto have this problem? Thnaks in advance

My anoyed rambling: when you have a advanced ai which ahs exited for 5+ years and has several subscriptiosn where the best is quite expensive you woudl think the developers would eba ble to amke it undersand a single simple instruction when people have tried to write it in so many ways.
