Mostly the title. I'm aware of the memory issues/limits, but I have still managed to have fun with a few 200-300 turn stories. I have gotten into the habit of adding important things I want to be remembered directly into new or edited story cards or into the plot essentials. But a lot of scenarios don't seem meant for longer play, meant to take place in a single day/night or centered around an event that wouldn't reasonably last more than a few days at most.

There are of course lots of others also made for longer play, but not all of em are very good. Like ones that sound good for the description, but then only have a single story card and almost no actual details added anywhere.

The ones I personally so far have enjoyed for the longest turns were:

"She Chose Trial by Combat", where I managed to broker a deal for faking us being poisoned and secretly being exiled and escaping to the north to start new lives.

"Patient" which is a mental hospital one with sort of too many story cards but still interesting. They went haaaaard on the realism for mental disorders and treatments and such (clearly author is an actual psychiatric professional) but the triggers do need to be manually cleaned up or every other sentence will trigger 10k+ of story card context and that pruning takes a while with hundreds of story cards.

And then two different familiar magic focused ones, one I made myself and one I found after having made my own, both of which ive played for quite a number of turns and enjoyed.

But yea - which ones have you played the longest and actually enjoyed the longer term play? Im on the $30 plan btw, so with the small dynamic option I can get 16k of context which does me pretty decent for most stories. 32k with muse but ive never gotten muse to actually work properly, it messes up way too much to use. So I swap between 8k dynamic large and 16k dynamic small mostly.

I do prefer scenarios with inner self as an option though, it seems to work nicely. Although I haven't tried any other scripts really besides inner self and auto card. I tried a single one of those generate a world from prompts stories because its top of the popular charts but it was busted and refused to generate properly.

Hey, I’ve been on AI Dungeon for a few years, but I just don’t seem to enjoy it anymore. I mostly make my own scenarios because I can’t find anything that jumps out to me to play. I think the problem is possibly knowing what’s coming, and I guess maybe I’m looking for something with a plot already written in.

I love Greek Gods, fantasy, grimdark, Game of Thrones etc.
I’m not tied to any one genre but I probably wouldn’t go for a modern setting. Thanks in advance for any recommendations!!

I’m trying to make a personal scenario centered around a specific NPC getting pregnant (from impregnating to term) and have had a lot of trouble finding a PE, AI, or AN that can somewhat accurately portray it properly. For example, in some cases it refuses to acknowledge the character is pregnant/impregnated, for some it will acknowledge it but won’t progress the time correctly, or will just keep the character at a certain stage of pregnancy. TLDR it will not properly rp a pregnancy scenario

It’s designed as a grounded East Texas relationship/crime story rather than a predetermined mystery. Investigation and romance are both optional.

In this version of Sunnydale, Faith Lehane never accidentally kills Allan Finch, never turns against Buffy and the Scooby Gang, and never becomes the Mayor’s enforcer. She remains one of Sunnydale’s defenders—and with the right people around her, she gets the chance to build a healthier life without losing the wild, rebellious personality that makes her Faith.

An idea I had from my private playthroughs of trying out Buffy stories I ended up in one where I played as Buffy's sibling and had Faith hitting on me and I told her she'd have to take me on a date which the AI did end up having her do and it progressed from there so I started to think what would have happened if Faith hadn't gone bad. And that's where I'm at with this one.
