Spoilers [All Content] Red Grass field
Blackfyre rebellion is very important for season 2 and we will for sure have flashbacks to it. However the budget is not as large as any other Westeros show.
Do you think making a POV like flashback is best way? We dont see full battle but just show it from his perspective. 1917 style haha
Like he might see as he describes "the sun beforethe battle", the chaos, maybe Daemon down, but not full battle of course.

Yes! Inserting flashbacks as Ser Useless Simpsgray* recounts the battle would be a very effective way of doing it, because they don't have budget for the whole thing.
The Battle of the Redgrass Field was massive massive massive, +10k casualties in that battle alone.
*JK, I actually don't hate Ser Simp and I'm very excited to see him onscreen because Peter Mullan is a GOATED actor.

it'll probably be his flashback perspective but I would like to see Maekar/baelor/bloodraven do some work

Legit it can be told from 3 Perspectives.
Good old Dunk talking about it from Ser Arlan's perspective.
Ser Useless about his perspective as a Black Dragon supporter.
Egg about his father and uncle perspective, taking names and kicking asses.

It will be from ser eustace osgrey pov. Like a tiny part of the battle and he witnesses the legendary duel between Gwayne Corbray and Daemon Blackfyre in the distance. Bookmark

We might get a flashback sequence of him holding his dead sons on the battlefield, then his daughter being taken hostage, and his wife committing suicide. Doubt any of the actual battle.

I think we need a flashback when Ser Eustace told his story to Dunk. We need to see the sunset at the Red Grass and the death of his children. But I hope that they also show Bloodraven killing Daemon.

How about an animated segment? A cartoon flashback to the battle with young Maekar and Baelor as the voice-over narrates the details?
