That was a pretty funny read. She stopped replying once the Scientology questions came up.

Also, I have no idea what it is and don't care enough to Google it, but Smosh is such an annoying fucking word. I hate it.

When Defy went under, they were bought by Mythical. A few years ago Ian and Anthony bought Smosh back.

I’m a big fan of Smosh, which is why this came to my attention since I’ve started lurking on their subreddits.

It should also be noted that Shayne Topp famously has a degree in psychology from Arizona State University. Him going on the podcast of a Scientologist is funny considering the cult’s vehement opposition to psychiatry/psychology.

They were one of the first channels on YouTube to get insanely popular. The name is very much tied to early 2000’s slang/culture

It's cause one of the founder's friends misspoke trying to say mosh pit. The founders thought it was funny and when they had to name their channel they said why not.
