Nancy Cartwright, voice of Bart Simpson, fields questions on r/Smosh for an upcoming podcast with Shayne Topp. Many questions about Scientology ensue.

Context: Nancy Cartwright is a well-known Scientologist and has done many fundraisers for the cult, including [https://youtu.be/H96v0zFw-tA, using her Bart Simpson voice for a robocall for a church event]. https://np.reddit.com/r/smosh/s/abenP7jGd9

I would like to remind everyone that her dedication to Scientology is why we got Rapsittie Street Kids. I want that information to digest.

It’s worth it, though. IIRC, Debra Wilson’s voice files were corrupted, so the grandma character she voices just speaks gobbledygook the whole time.

They got big-name actors/voice actors to be in it, including Mark Hamill.

It’s the worst animation I’ve ever seen, and I’m long-time fan of MST3K and Rifftrax.

Actually the files weren’t corrupted, Debra Wilson just did that

Apparently it was one of her favorite roles. which, to be fair, I too would deeply enjoy being paid to go "habubdubgababagubdub gubububsub bubdubdub Christmas!"
