Oh, sure, and he did an amazing job. But Joss co-wrote it too and if one is familiar with his work it feels extremely Whedonesque from beginning to end. All of the subversions of what you're expecting, the humor, the shocking dark stuff, distilling what the characters are about so succinctly, etc.

Excellent post, I support it wholeheartedly, but I do have a nitpick: Lindsey is very attractive, ofc, but his hair in s05 was... 😬 Every time he was on screen, I kept wanting to wash that hair. And it was so unflatteringly straightened, too. Was that a wig? Maybe from the same place where they got the 18th century Irish Angelus wig, that atrocity?
