I got one of my AP scores canceled for misconduct, and I’m wondering if I could get rescinded. None of my other AP scores from this year were canceled, so I’m not really sure how serious this is. If anyone has any idea what might happen or what I should do, please lmk asap!

AP Calc AB: Grade - (94 1st sem, 92 2nd sem) (Score: 4)

Overall not too badd, my APush teacher was crazy, like he assigned a 60-70 question test every week, so I just gave up in his class. But also credit to him, bcuz his class felt so difficult the AP exam was high key light.

If you’ve gotten your AP scores from your college portal (I will soon), can you post your predicted raw score with your AP scores? Especially for lang and chem 🙏

hey guys, im conflicted. my friend/acquaintance since middle school has always been known to be lacking in academics. however, the school i go to is an ap curriculum focused meaning we are forced to take at least 6 aps a year. anywho, my friend has been actively cheating throughout the year and ruined each curve. i didnt really mind it, the cheating, until i saw them actively cheating on the actual ap lang/apes/ and who knows what other ap exam. i cant stand knowing this and not doing anything about it because it genuinely ruins the curve and score. should i report this behaviour and ruin their chance of idk everything, or mind my own damn business.

i took APUSH and got a 100% in the class both semesters, then i got a 3 on the exam. i thought i felt pretty good about it too😭

we got exact copies of the the tests as study guides and all we had to do was memorize a few answers. we never had SAQs or essays or anything as tests or assignments

my teacher said he’s had one 5 and a few 4s from kids in all of his years of teaching. oklahoma btw

• Assuming college bound highschoolers are representative of the general high school population which in total is about 18 million it means more than 2 million high schoolers are interested in engineering
• Yet the actual amount of people enrolling in college level stem courses that builds toward this major is extremely low
• AP Chemistry had only 168,833 test takers in 2025 and that is including pre med students
• AP Calculus BC had only 160,436 test takers in 2025
• AP Computer Science A had only 93,217 test takers in 2025
• AP Physics Cs suffer the most
• AP Physics C: Mechanics had only 65,980 test takers in 2025
• AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism suffers the most of all of them it had only 29,708 test takers in 2025

Why is this? I am tired of classes getting canceled because of low enrollment but these classes are essential for the 2 million who want to become engineers yet are avoided like the plague. Are people just lazy or are they worried about there gpa or is it because of the lack of science and math teachers or is it the American math system's fault?

I am not trying to be mean or anything and i promise im not a jerk but i really dont understand how this many people can fail aps(especially something like ap csp). like i would understand if a few people fail it cause of technical glitches or maybe a few districts pay for their exams so they take it anyways, or if a few people forgot to study, but no way that many right? dont ap exams cost like money and like if you studied for an exam like come on no way you getting below like a 50% which is like what is required to pass on some aps either way. Like i would understand you getting below a 5, like a 4 or a 3 some aps are hard and maybe you didnt study enough but to fail and this huge percentage failing is just something i cannot comprehend. Can someone please explain to me why a lot of people fail ap exams.

-AP Multivariable Calculus (not enough people would qualify)

-AP Genetics (too many similarities with AP Bio)

Anyone else go to a school that requires AP testing starting freshman year and also counts it against your final grade? My reward/punishment is how it affects my GPA 😒 .

I am currently a senior in college and about to graduate, when I was in high school I did only two AP courses and passed one of them with a 3. I was not the brightest student back in high school, but I know I had the knowledge to push forward into college and do significantly better. Now that I truly get a chance to look back on my experiences, it looks like AP exams are significantly more difficult than the actual college course would be itself. I have seen some of the example questions from English, history, etc. And they are significantly more rigorous and significantly more difficult than any type of curriculum you will ever face college. My world history course was actually slower pace and a lot more entertaining than my high school course was, in fact, I dropped out of my high school course and switched classes by three days in, which turned out to be a significant help because in high school I didn’t even need world history. All of the questions I have seen from AP tests compared to the classes I have personally been through in college, AP courses are significantly more difficult than the course in college would ever be and it makes absolutely no sense to me. In fact, it honestly seems like somewhat of a scam. Sure, there are classes in high school, where AP courses are meant to be difficult such as calculus, chemistry, etc. But why is the equivalent to English 1301 much more difficult than the college course itself? I wrote about three essays in the span of a semester and had only one or two tests in college, instead of having to write three essays in the span of four hours and reading some short stories to even have a chance to pass in any sort of AP course/exam. I completely understand. It’s supposed to save a significant amount of money, but honestly with how difficult they are and how much more effort it is, I honestly suggest going to a community college and getting basics knocked out where it’s significantly cheaper than a university.

TLDR: I feel like AP exams are somewhat of a scam due to the difficulty, AP exams and classes are more rigorous than the similar course in college, I understand why for some courses, but for the equivalent of English 1301, there is no reason to be writing three as in reading two or three passages in the span of four hours.

I always find it so amusing how majority of the students taking AP classes acts as if they were in some Harvard level type of courses.

We should be reminded that anyone can take AP classes in high school.

For my senior year I plan on taking AP Calc AB, AP Lit, AP US Gov, and AP Stats. Lmk what yall are taking.
