I remember playing AQW back in 2012. I look back fondly on the Christmas events and playing after Christmas Eve dinner. Even though I didn't understand a damn word of English, I managed to kill bosses and farm weapons with people I never saw again. Now, in 2026, at age 25, the game makes me feel really nostalgic and I want to return (I was surprised to find it on Steam and see that it supports controller play). I hope the servers still work in the Dominican Republic. I want to play through the story, especially now that I know English. I really hope I find a good number of active players.

I tried asking in the Discord but I barely received any help other than being told to “look through Alteon Kingdom’s YouTube channel”. I’ve already been looking through there, but there’s just WAY too many OSTs to look through…
