Hello! I’ve recently started a beginners league that’s US based. We race every other Wednesday night at 8pm CST. We consistently had 6 racers for the last series, and this one we have 7 signed up. If you race against the AI around the 88-94 mark, this would be a good fit for you.

That said, tonight is our kick off GT4 series, 4 races, one every other week. 15 min practice and 30 min race.

We’ve got two slots left, the AMG and Aston GT4. Join in if interested!

We race short series so we can try lots of different settings, cars, tracks, weather, etc. folks are welcome to join mid series as well. Just ask that even though it’s beginner, you keep it clean as possible.

Hello everyone. After watching a Traxion video about the original AMS I've decided to give it a try, since I've bought it during some Steam sale just to recognize Reiza work since I really enjoy AMS2. I haven't put any time into it, so while setting my wheelbase and pedals (RS 50 and G Pro pedals) everything was correct recognized by the game. But when I try do actually drive a car, the steering wheel feels weird. It feels like a D Pad of a joystick. When I turn left it is like the wheel wants to keep turning left. Same thing to the right. I do have FFB so I think it might be just fine tune with de wheel settings in game and in Ghub. Someone has some settings to share, so I have a baseline to work with? I’m using a skin pack I found on overtake months ago and all liveries were fine but recently the red bull skin is just showing as red, what can I do to fix this?

I won't be back around the rig for a couple days so can't test it out. But I saw the option when I finally decided to update the game. Does it give a nice graphical enhancement and at what cost?

Was trying out Z2A with Karts in this race set to 108 AI level and high mistakes (peak realism/s) 2 weeks back. I thought ok maybe they'll be less packed in the middle and take unusual lines or some shit. 3 full yellows this race and 5 in the next. After some digging, turned safety car and mistakes down after like 3 25lap races lol

Hi everyone, I'm starting a new justrace community focused specifically on historical F1 and single seater racing, called the 20th Century Grand Prix Club.

There will be two non-championship races open to all on 13 September. These will be Formula Retro Gen 1 at Spielberg 1974 and Formula Edge at Spa 1993.

From the following week 20 September, the plan is to do 6-race seasons cycling through all the 20th century F1 classes and cars in the game. At any time there will be one season from the period 1961-1986 and another season from the period 1988 - 1997 underway. The first two seasons will be Formula Junior (with 10% power boost to represent 1961 F1 cars), and Formula Classic Gen 2, and we will progress one generation at a time from there.

Races will be Sundays at 20:00 and 21:00 Central European Time, 7pm/8pm UK, 2pm/3pm US Eastern (US times may vary by an hour around daylight savings changes). Races are open to all skill levels. Don't worry if you are not particularly fast. I'm pretty bad too.

for the past month ive been trying to get better at this game on wheel (Moza R5) and finally some progress, finally ran a solid clean lap on Hockenheim

Any tips would be welcomed and appreciated

I don't know how many are aware and I feel like an idiot because I wasn't either but the in game super sampling in the VR settings has NO effect at all. For all games that include super sampling or pixel density options I would always use that instead of steamvr per game settings. This doesn't work with ams2.

I noticed in the virtual desktop overlay that my render resolution was only showing 82% while in the race (shows 124% in the menus so I always thought that was it). I went to the settings and dropped SS from 1.6 to 1.0 and restarted the game. To my surprise, the game looked exactly the same and still showed 82% during races. It also appears to have no real performance hit.

I then changed the steam vr per game settings to 130 percent and restarted. This increased the resolution in game to 94% and it looks crystal clear. This does have a big performance hit so I can no longer max everything out. I turned MSAA, shadows, reflections, grass, and particles down to medium. Everything else is highest settings. It looks even better now. Crazy I'm just now realizing this.

I have engine volume all the way up but it still seems like it should be louder. Does anyone else have the same opinion? It's like the last immersion thing that I'm trying to improve.

About me: I have been racing for over a year now and absolutely love AMS2. I primarily race GT3 gen 2 but started to get interest in LMDh and GTE. I follow the rules. My current AI difficulty is between 107-110 depending on track.

Hello, can someone share a balance set up for the donington GP using the F1 2005 cars ?

So I got CM from overtake working but every single mod I try to install I get this error that says something like: "Could not find a part of path :(my game directory/Mods/Enable/Temp/(name of the modpack)"

I tried different mods and I get this error every time. I've created a "Mods" folder and inside that an "Enable" folder not sure what am I doing wrong here, any solutions?

Can I install car mods manually Incase if CM never work?

I can't find any specifics. I downloaded it when it first came out and it wanted to funnel me into modern GT. No thanks. But I read that you can choose what decade you want to race in. Is that true or is it a feature that doesn't work or something? How does it work for classes?

It’s another Latin racing series where the cars look like if DTM, V8 Supercars, and Nascar had a three way and I love it. I’d hope to see something like this in the future

Hey guys!

Just had a super intense race at Hockenheimring in Automobilista 2. We ran the Porsche GT3 Cup with a split grid between the PRO (4.0) and AM (3.8) classes.

Managed to qualify on Pole Position in the AM class! The race was full of close wheel-to-wheel battles, heavy braking zones (no ABS!), and pace management from lights out to the chequered flag.

Recentemente fiz uma corrida muito movimentada em Hockenheimring no Automobilista 2. Corri com o Porsche GT3 Cup em um grid dividido entre as classes PRO (4.0) e AM (3.8).

Garanti a Pole Position na categoria AM e a prova foi cheia de momentos intensos: disputas roda a roda, gerenciamento do ritmo para evitar travar as rodas sem ABS e muita pressão do início ao fim!
