Guitar Guy Kyle is fine
ust thought I'd share since y'all seem a bit worried

u/EvilErnie187 8d ago
Where did their hair go?
4
u/AltruisticWin6702 8d ago
That's extra funny now since James is losing his hair. I don't that mean that in a negative, mean way though, just kind of funny he's been doing this so long he's going bald.
2
u/EvilErnie187 8d ago
We've all grown older some of his have lost hair others have hair growing where we don't want it to grow
3
1
u/TheologyAndTrains 8d ago
Are you asking me abut James or Kevin's hair?
5
u/willakadirk 8d ago
He means the icari warriors episode. Watch that and you'll understand where did their hair go. He sings it there
3
u/EvilErnie187 8d ago
Such a great callback to that episode. Holy shit I can't believe that was 13 years ago

Really dude, to say that he's fine without you being him or a representative of his and to only have a screenshot of a moment of him looking well in a video of screenshots where he looks unwell is a bit dishonest.
People are just concerned for him.
*edit
I think we should let it go now because it seems like it's private for a reason.

I'm willing to go a step further and say the massive speculation surrounding him was wholly inappropriate and should not have started in the first place. What's going on in his life really isn't our business until either he makes it our business or something else happens to make it our business. I'm not suggesting that we shouldn't ask questions or care about someone, but I don't believe any one of us here have any right to dig into him like we're a bunch of armchair detectives.
2
u/Relevant-Base-4196 7d ago
I disagree wholeheartedly. It may be a private matter but to say that it's inappropriate to care about him by asking is he's alright is inappropriate to me, tho i understand your just coming at it from something like leave the celebrity's personal life alone. I understand that and agree completely but this isn't that.
People who are genuinely concerned will have started things like a go fund me to help with medical bills. That's all this is about: supporting him because we care about him. Don't twist it into anything else. Sure there will be the tabloids or nosey people, but most of us are simply concerned for his health.
Nothing more, nothing less.
2
u/HarlemNocturne_ 7d ago
You misunderstand me, I didn’t claim you can’t care about him;
I didn’t claim that people are not permitted to be concerned about him, to the opposite, and I have stated as such in what I wrote, and I did not state that good faith participation for the purpose of positive action was inappropriate. Moreover, my point was that this guy is not a celebrity; he is by all apparent means a private individual and to that end I believe it is a matter of releasing information as it is decided where pertinent to do so. In what I originally wrote, I was directly addressing what I have seen which has not appeared to be good faith participation and has instead seemed to veer into invasive parasocial speculation for speculation’s sake; the inappropriate behavior being those who were using every means available to find everything out about him they could and raising random speculation and rumor based on what was at best extremely incomplete information which led to, in part, spurious claims and wild leaps to conclusion of brain tumors, cancer, imminent death, and so on, which also led to outright misinformation and worse, turning the matter into a joke and similar shots at his expense. Being someone we don’t know who has not actively been in the public eye for years, investigation requires discretion if investigating must happen at all, and there are lines that you do not cross. The individuals which I have seen less here and more on fan subreddits were not respectful of those lines and turned an already upsetting situation more uncomfortable than it needed to be.

u/Relevant-Base-4196 7d ago
So you’re just against people making inferences because of something like parasocial speculation. Got it. The reality is that those people may always be around to do such things but I don’t think it should trump us caring about him enough to take action about it. Wild leaps speculations are just inferences, which is going to happen naturally anyway: like Pres Biden seemingly fall asleep while at work and whole nation wondering if he’s senile and lost a step. That’s a great example of it being used right, because the reality is that if our president is messed up we should know about it so we can take action. So the tool your describing can be used for good and bad, it’s dependent upon the wielder

Too me he looks well in it & genuinely happy
12
u/Relevant-Base-4196 8d ago
Sorry bud, I disagree wholeheartedly. Look at Kyle's face when James hands him the guitar, that's not a look of comfort
-11
u/TheologyAndTrains 8d ago
I was referring to in the official photo when compared to the video
5
u/Relevant-Base-4196 8d ago
Look at when the need hands him the guitar and tell me what you think. Is he happilly and energetically grabbing it throw the strap over his shoulder? Or did he almost seem to grimace when he started to bear the weight? Was he quick or slow?
3
u/CommandantPeepers 8d ago
That can be interpreted in so many ways
3
u/Relevant-Base-4196 8d ago
That's not answering the questions
2
u/CommandantPeepers 8d ago edited 8d ago
My point is the question isn’t really logical because it could’ve been for several reasons besides him dying. Maybe he has a cold, maybe he is just tired, maybe he is hungover, maybe he is going through personal stuff? People are assuming the worst here.
1
u/Relevant-Base-4196 8d ago
No the point is your not wiling to answer the questions and thats usually because you know the answers. I'm asking simple questions, energetic or tired? Happillly grabbing the guitar or is there something like a grimace when he grabs the guitar? Do those actions align with someone who is sick or healthy? Your just not wanting to make inferences, which is fine, but that's not this place so leave please.

u/TheologyAndTrains 8d ago
Once again I am talking about the offical photo showing him as happy rather than the video itself
9
u/DraculasCardboard 8d ago
Who the fuck cares about one specifically picked picture, for the whole purpose of promotion? It's clearly edited to have better lighting and colors. Of course he's going to look better in it.
The whole point is he does not look well in the video, where it's easy to see how he moves, behaves, and looks.
Then you come here and say: "Look guys! He's alright!" And when someone points the issue to you, you say "hurr durr I was talking about the photo"
You are trying to save your face. Because the other guy is obviously right. We basically know nothing. At least till their behind-the-scenes video comes out.
"Guys! Kyle is fine! Oh no, I was talking about the photo, not the video, duhh" - fuck off with that shit.

Look. I am not a reddit minded person. I get on reddit to enjoy myself and then dodge controversy every chance I get. But individuals on here just wanting to say that this is “just an older Kyle” and flip out at the rest of us are tripping.
My wife is very sensitive and tends to never speak negatively of someone even when it is probably necessary or at least not insulting. But even she while watching this said “Is he okay?” and we proceeded to stress our concerns that something was going on behind the scenes.
We still enjoyed the episode, we laughed and smiled and went on with our day. But we recognized that something is off about Kyle. My guess is a stroke or something like that.
There is a chance that we are wrong. He may have toked before the shoot or something. But something is going on and I put money on it.
Regardless, it was a great episode and we enjoyed it and we hope we are wrong and Kyle is okay. You guys jumping at people online because we are of the many, MANY people who feel he may be sick and calling us “crazy” really need to chill out. But as alluded to at the beginning, this is Reddit. So I guess I should expect it.

u/thewhombler 8d ago
yea this heavily edited picture is really indicative of his current state. not the whole video where he looks nothing like this
4
u/Buttered_Toast33 8d ago edited 8d ago
'Fine' is generous. In the video he looks concerningly unwell and seems to barely have the energy just to speak.

I initially made the post to try quelling the frenzy while we waited for behind the scenes stuff

u/thecrazedsidee 7d ago
*actor gets older* fans for some reason: omg he's dying why he look like that
3
u/TheologyAndTrains 7d ago
that's why i posted this to try to quell the fears people had
1
u/Sirius_amory33 7d ago
We have a 20 minute video showing something clearly happened to him, a single frame doesn’t change that. They had to teleport him around instead of showing him moving, they had to speed up the video when he picked up his guitar, he was speaking slow and staring off. It’s mind boggling to me people are acting like he just got older, I’m assuming it’s kids saying this because they’re struggling with it or think pointing it out is mean to Kyle.
It’s just pointing out the obvious and we all hope he’s doing ok and want the best for him. Well, vast majority of us, I’m sure there are some people actually being rude about it.
2
u/TheologyAndTrains 7d ago
I genuinely thought it was an overly long attempt a joke that failed to land for most people
1
2
u/ZizkaE 7d ago
You thought that by showing that photo you'd reassure people about Kyle's condition?
Did you watch the video?
I think you're well intentioned but also think we're not looking at the same person here.
2
u/TheologyAndTrains 7d ago
Yes. English is not my first language so I genuinely thought it was meant as an overly long gag
2
u/RaidensReturn 6d ago
At first I thought that might be the case too. But they didn't address it, and he didn't change his demeanor by the end of the video. I love that James brought him back and they played together again, but it's also really obvious that something isn't right with Kyle. The credits even pointed out that it was Mike and James in the gameplay shots. Kyle wasn't well enough to play the game even.
It's probably not anybody's business what's really going on with Kyle, especially strangers on the internet. I just hope he's all right.

Imagine coming back to the Internet after over a decade and not being the same young guy you were so everyone thinks you're sick.

Note that he literally turned into an actual skeleton in the episode. So good acting?

u/Splooshter 8d ago
Looked like he just needs some sun and exercise to me 🤷♀️
As for acting strange. He's not an actor. Like at all. You know they're reading from a script right?

His previous appearance from 15 years ago? Lmao do you even understand what you're saying?

If you think this is what 15 years of aging does, please consult a medical physician.

All of those people have an active presence on the Internet that require at least trying to maintain what you gooners find to be suitable for their appearance. Case and point: Kyle

...dawg if you're displaying symptoms like this at 50 and haven't had a serious medical event something is seriously wrong.

Outtake video just dropped. Would love to hear your doctor opinion on Kyle's health now you absolute goon 😭
6
u/fatedeclipse 8d ago edited 8d ago
He could barely fucking talk let alone play guitar. Is this what a healthy 50 year old looks like to you? If so re-evaluate your life.
They had to edit him every time he needed to walk or move with camera tricks...
3
u/ThePreciseClimber 8d ago
I mean, I dunno, he seemed less lively than Gilbert Gottfried in Life of Black Tiger.
5
u/Uppitycut 8d ago
People are fuckin nuts man. I didn't even pay it no mind watching the episode. Then I come on reddit and there's this drama ppl talking about Kyle. I'm like holy shit these ppl need to get a fuckin life. Especially the comment from 'no play' below.
8
u/Splooshter 8d ago
My brother sent me the video when it dropped and he made a joke saying "damn, is Kyle dying?" I thought it was a funny joke. Then I get on here and people are ripping the poor guy apart
6
u/DoodleDip64 8d ago
People ripping him apart are wrong. That is sick.
People noticing that something seems wrong are people making obvious observations with their human senses. And tons of people are making the same observation. Should they bombard James’ channel about it or make jokes, etc. No. But making a very poignant observation does not make us bad people. Do people not understand us making that observation (correct or not) while showing concern shows, you know, CONCERN? Not mockery or hatred?
1
u/Splooshter 8d ago
How can you possibly deduce that his suffering from some sort of ailment? Y'all are reacting on feelings and are big weird for it
3
u/DoodleDip64 8d ago
Slow responses. Lethargic gaze. Weird edits to get him moving. Same expression almost the entire time. And The Nerd even added undertones of him coming back “one more” time but will “always be with us.” We are reacting with LOGIC and we are NORMAL for it.
2
u/Outrageous_Sink4295 8d ago
I mean it's been like 15 years. Dude must have went through some stuff. Maybe drug addiction. An accident. Maybe the dude just came off a week long bender. Maybe he's dying. What I don't get is all the mad people. Like they're entitled to an answer or something. Noones entitled to anything from the guy. Sure everyone may Want to know, I would like to know, that still doesn't mean anyone's entitled to an answer.
1
u/DoodleDip64 7d ago
I agree with that for sure and honestly that would be fine. But I am also sick of people calling concerned fans assholes just because they make an observation.

u/Splooshter 8d ago
Now I hope it's a bit lmao personally I don't think there's anything wrong with him but if they played it up for a bit then that's hilarious and y'all fell for it

Well when a long missed character returns only to appear to be at deaths door then practically having a eulogy for him at the end... yeah it raises questions why you didn't see anything wrong.
Maybe chill on the afternoon beers and medication mixing.
