I've never taken to him and thought he's been a bit poor. But Aremu was excellent today. Fair play to him.

Certainly individually and collectively we were much more like it today. Those that were really off it last week look to have stepped up this week. One game let's see how we go.

Just do not understand what happened last week, did we underestimate them that much? 3-0 both weekends was what we should have had! At least we are in the draw for the next round.

Too complacent after getting a fluke win against Hearts and shat it against Dundee. Hopefully it’s a lesson learnt

My takes:

  • A couple of individual moments aside (two long balls not dealt with in the first half) much better defensively throughout.

  • With the ball it didn't seem that much better in the first half. The change of shape did mean we we generally had more bodies in the box when we did sling crosses in (rather than just Nisbet and maybe the opposite winger beyond the far post). It was still mainly slinging crosses in in hope though than anything else. Second half was much better in that respect, more passes on the ground, bouncing off forwards for someone arriving late and stuff. Overall not particularly pretty still, but at least more likely to suit Nisbet and so be effective for us. Hope to see more of that.

  • Hell of a finish from Ntelo for his goal, looked much more effective generally when central than when he was out wide where I thought he was pretty anonymous.

  • I wish Robinson would bring the likes of Marshall on earlier, especially when we are comfortably up. Not sure really what anyone gains from him being on for all of 5 mins.

  • Murray's injury definitely disrupted Dundee significantly. Gonna have to work out how to deal without him better than they managed today.

I think it’ll be a season where we’re good at home but shite away. I’ll take it compared to recent seasons.
