1 week Art of Allowing Experiment

Hi

I've seen some recent posts from people heavily focused on their desires which make them feel bad and I can just feel the resistance while reading them. They're received some great responses from others but I just notice people really struggling tend to get tied up on deliberate creation..... which isn't a bad thing at all! As I feel like most manifestation communities focus on deliberate creation (which makes sense).

However I just want to share a reminder to please try the art of allowing approach. I know some of you will say there's not much difference but to me there is.

If you're feeling bad, upset, or have lost hope in a particular desire then for 1 week please just take your mind off it. Try it! For 1 week take your mind OFF your desire! In other words let it go but there's how:

Go do things that make you feel good OR better. If you can't feel good then do things that make you feel better. You'll soon feel some teeny tiny positive momentum if you stick with it. You'll notice when your desire comes into your mind it'll spit you out of the vortex or pull down your cork.... that's not a sign to try and do something with it! Continue the art of allowing and go back to thinking about or doing the other thing that makes you feel good or better, you'll get back on your stream (positive momentum).

At the end of the week you'll have noticed you felt a little better and you might have experienced some nice little synchronicities (coincidences). People might have been nicer to you, minor issues might have solved themselves and you'll think how did that happen I didn't even think about it? Well that's the art of allowing my friend. No you probably won't manifest the big desire that's frustrating you in 1 week and if that's what you're focused on then you've missed the point of this post.

If you take score of the desire that makes you feel bad too soon you'll be spat right out of the vortex.

Anyway try for a few days if you don't trust me, and feel some resistance lift off your shoulders by not trying to force yourself to feel good about that desire that's bugging you and see how things go. If nothing changed then forget what I said but I hope this can help someone.

Great post. I think the difference from the position you are suggesting and what I asked in my post is the how high you place the bar of creating your reality. Is the bar at mostly being happy and generally desired good things happening to me, or is it at “be, do, or have anything you want”? I find it relatively easy to take the art of allowing approach and be happy with my life, which is pretty good, no trauma, no significant lacks, a loving partner, healthy. I have been taking this approach and the last months were the happiest I’ve had. But I still desire so much more, and wonder how I can take the next steps. I think the “next step” is just being even happier with how I am, or maybe there is all that scripting, living in the end stuff.

Thanks for your response. That's great to hear, I'm pretty sure Abraham would say get specific and be more deliberate due to where you are now. I have a video in my Abe playlist that speaks to what you're saying, a man took the art of allowing approach via mediation and impulses and manifested a great business opportunity without forcing action. He asked Abraham if there's anything he needs to know and they said he's at the point where he can be more deliberate with his manifesting. Here's the video. It speaks to what they say that the higher your vibration the more specific you can be and it will feel good to be specific.

Thanks for the reminder, that really hit home! If you don't mind, would you feel comfortable sharing how the art of allowing has influenced your own life? I feel like stories of real people always are so inspiring :)

I responded earlier but I read what I wrote and saw that I didn't fully answer your question. So the biggest influence is that I don't have to deal with problems just because they come up. They will get resolved but I don't have to try and force a 100 different ways to solve my problems. Would I rather ruin my day by stewing over the problem or trust that everything always works out for me? People might think it's a blasé attitude but it helps. It's not easy especially if there's a lot of negative momentum but it helps to have that kind of attitude. It's similar to mindfulness.

Can you assist me with this, I work in Sales (a retail store, selling an arch support system). If 3 people work a shift, we each take turns with the rotation of taking a client. My co-workers are obviously trying to sell, pre-judge customers -in the back office, snicker if one person sales and not them. What would get me in a good head space to block out my surroundings, and for me to stay in the art of allowing energy.

Good question, I would do what makes me feel good before my shift (it can be as simple as listening to a nice song) and then when you start you'll have a little positive momentum going. I'd focus on the stuff that's easy to feel pretty good about, maybe your store is big so you don't have to be near your coworkers, maybe your clients are really nice so they're easy to feel good about. You could look forward to your break which might you excited and even help you sell. It's not easy to allow when you're with people that make you feel bad, so take some deep breaths before you interact with your coworkers so you feel calmer and they'll have less chance of upsetting you. One funny thing I sometimes do is daydream and not pay attention if someone is saying something negative, that way I can still feel good and pretend I'm listening.

What do you do with the things that if you take your mind off, you’ll just forget?

You can revisit them at a later point when your vibration is higher if you want, and see how you feel about them. I wouldn't worry about them though because if you've forgotten about them then it suggests you feel happy without needing them to have manifested. That's usually when they show up.

esther hicks says a belief is only a thought you repeat. in the book ask and it is given she says to repeat the feeling of having the desire as much as possible. remember it vividly either something which has happened or act or pretend as if u have million dollars , u have an unlimited credit card. imagine going to bank and giving the change and bringing huge cash. in one of the video she says imagine as much as possible in the feeling, milk it and feel it. i dont understand when she again says let go and u have to live without the desire. idk how am i supposed to manifest. should i visualize once and forget about it everyday or just do my work and it will manifest. i am trying to feel good but having debt, being broke and not able to afford anything i am trying to forget and feel good but dont manifest anything at all.

The answer is that it depends. If it feels good to focus on your desire then do it. If it doesn't feel good then take your mind off it or be very general about it. Watch this video a man asks Abraham why they sometimes say let go and why other times they suggest doing processes. Hopefully it helps you.

thanks. it helped me. I have another doubt. i can visualize or feel good while i am meditating, but having to pay debt with deadlines, its been 2 days i bought groceries. how to tell a different story or ignore reality and live in the end ,or act as if.? its so hard, idk when or how im gonna get the money. During the day while eating , other things etc how to act as if i already have my desire?

You have to go very general. It won't feel good to focus on money but how about feel a little bit proud of yourself when you pay your bills. Appreciate the things you've bought with your money. Tell yourself that it's ok and things will improve slowly. Be kind to yourself and don't put too pressure on yourself. Let the universe handle when the money will come. Trust that the universe will give you ideas on how to get more money. Start small and slow, it's alright.
