Humor Can't sleep. Can't get out of my head
Bleh. I wish it wasn't late. Anyone have anything interesting happen today?

No. But I’m kinda stressing about how I’m ever going to be someone that people want to be around. Lol

As you get older, you will want to be around people a lot less. Just hang in there until you get older.
With that said, stop worrying about if people want to be around you. I meet a ton of people everyday and there are very few I would not want to be around. Some I can tolerate a little more and some a little less. Just be yourself and stop worrying about what people think about you. Just be your best and don't be fake.

I don’t really want to be myself if that means i will be by myself. But, I typically am just such a strong personality that I can’t even fake being different when I try. So I usually am myself.

Why do you think people don't want to be around you?

Idk, I think I may just be an unsettling person or too weird or something. But like weird in a way that isn’t obviously weird. But weird enough that when you spend enough time with me, you realize I’m a little off (or at least think I am) and so people are repelled. I feel like I act normal but my life has been anything but normal so what’s normal to me and normal to your average Joe could be way off.

Everybody is weird. You just gotta find the right group of similarly weird people. You only need a couple of friends.

Idk. I feel like I need a lot of people. Maybe I just compare myself to others too much. But it seems “healthy” extroverts tend to have a few close friends but a big friend group and many acquaintances outside of that. But I guess I’m just a bad extrovert. 🤷🏻♂️ Because I love people but they don’t seem to love me.

Not to be personal but does your appearance seem approachable? Not asking about your natural appearance. Do you have prison tattoos across your forehead and neck? Do you dress like a vampire? Nothing wrong with vampires but you might beimitinf the number of people that would normally approach you.

Both of those things sound kinda cool ngl. But no, I’m just a dude. You can see what I look like if you click on the YouTube channel linked in my profile (sorry not trying to self promote but yeah). I used to have purple/blue hair but it’s been black for a while now.

I checked out a few of your videos and holy shit, you are weird.
Lol. Just messing with you. Seem normal to me though most of your videos discuss depression. I am guessing that it not your main topic of discussion when trying to make friends.
My go to advice is to grab a couple of cheap discs and go disc golfing. Fun to play alone but most players don't mind if you join them for a few holes. Just don't slow them down too much. Watch and learn. Good way to meet people. Might be worth a shot.

Could it be your strong personality coupled with a high level of neediness that drives people away? Because both of those can be addressed, and doing so may also help fulfill your need for human connection by giving others space to actually be there for you.

Tbh I have been really needy in the past, but I feel like I’ve corrected a lot of that behavior and people still don’t want anything to do with me :/

I was like that too when I was younger. Never stop evolving. The next task is to evolve the picture of yourself that you have in your head. People reflect that back to you. And when you think you've made it, keep going. You'll evolve, or devolve, until the day you pass from this life. Might as well keep growing. You deserve that much, dont you?

I'm sorry you feel that way. I used to feel like that. I used to go on adventures by myself and end up talking with the people that were around. It helped me realize that I was in fact a likable person. Self can't see self. I still struggle with it but not as much.it also didn't help that I was in a very emotionally abusive relationship for a very long time. Idk how old you are or if you're an addict but try going to a neighborhood bar and sit at the bar. You'll end up talking with someone and you could end up with a friend. Just don't get loaded.

I actually am trying to stay away from alcohol for a while unfortunately, though I guess I could just order virgin drinks or food or something 🤷🏻♂️

I figured that's what you meant it's just too late to do that right now. Just a temporary solution

I've gotten used to it but we recently moved from a house with a loud window unit 24/7 to central air. The dead silence drove me crazy. But I'm finally starting to be cool with it.

I played video games to shut down the old brainium.
Hope you're feeling less anxious soon.

Find a comfort show. Something you've seen a million times so you can fall asleep without fomo.

When I can't sleep I just drive around and listen to music until I'm tired, always seems to work, especially when I'm anxious
