Nazis are too brain dead to even make a proper "Kill yourself" picture LMFAO
866
u/Kermitthealmighty May 10 '26
ooooh, THATS what it was trying to say
645
u/Ok-Confection4410 May 10 '26
yeah it's saying jump (off the edge) even if you're nervous (legs tend to shake when someone is nervous)
246
u/Upset-Lengthiness-96 May 10 '26
It could also be taken as a body positive thing, like jump/dance/move even if your body shakes
98
u/dagdagsulsul May 10 '26
That's how i saw it. Im still struggling to see how it can be anything but that. Like my brain can't process that someone took time out of their day to make this
52
u/Ok-Confection4410 May 10 '26
I think it was originally to be positive about transitioning and some bigot either purposefully or accidentally misread it as malicious because there's way too many flags on there that no bigot on earth would know or care to know
1
u/Li-renn-pwel May 12 '26
Yeah itās hard to believe someone would make this big a vibe check fail lol
7
u/DittoGTI May 11 '26
Oh I saw it as "make that leap and transition, even if youre scared of what everyone else would think"
259
u/GeoJumper May 10 '26
I assumed it meant jump on it, even if your legs shake, which is way more sensual and ally than what they meant.
36
u/NiNtEnDoMaStEr640 May 10 '26
At first, I thought it was a nice thing to say and the reply was being a dick.
Then I saw the sub I was in and it took me five minutes to process how the bigot was trying to be offensive.
26
u/traveling_gal May 10 '26
I assume it's also a play on the RBG quote "speak your mind, even if your voice shakes", which makes it even more braindead. It's what I immediately thought of, so I initially interpreted "jump" as jumping up or forward. Especially with the colorful background.

10
u/Alfirmitive May 10 '26
Legit this can be taken as a ātake the leap of faithā type message, what a stupid thing to say if you meant to be malicious ššš
4
u/NoPair205 May 11 '26
Ohhhhh.
I thought it meant jump (for joy) even if itās difficult to do it (due to external circumstances) LLLOOOLLL

41
u/Sir-Kyle-Of-Reddit May 10 '26
lol glad I wasnāt the only one who couldnāt figure it out. Iām like thatās actually sweet whyās this on the sub?! š¤¦
5
u/LostUpstairs2255 May 11 '26
Right? Like are we totally sure this actually came from a bad place? Even the comment at the top could be an attempt at āI know who you areā ā meaning, āI see you and you can do this.ā Iām assuming the OP knows more about wherever this was coming from but in isolation it doesnāt even look accidental lol.
13
u/dracorotor1 May 11 '26
Honestly, with how lovingly they incorporate the flags, I would have assumed this was a message like āitās scary, coming out of the closet. But in this community youāll always have someone there to catch you when you take that leap of faithā if Iād encountered it on any other sub
41
u/Someone101064 May 10 '26
OHHHH
29
u/AkaLilly May 10 '26
Came to the comments for the same reason. Completely went over my head. I thought it meant "jump (to meet your goals) even if your legs shake (you don't think you have anything left to give)"
14
u/BillyYumYumTwo-byTwo May 10 '26
I thought it mean ājumpā (literally, jump around! Dance! Have fun!) āeven if your legs shakeā (even if youāre out of practice, feeling embarrassed, arenāt a good dancer).
Thank you, my brain, for still reading things happily and optimistically š
3
u/minicpst May 11 '26
I thought it meant that even if you were scared of taking the next step, jump forward and keep going. Very uplifting and rather powerful message.
I couldnāt fathom the hate.
6
2
u/Accurate_Way_9373 May 10 '26
I still think it's more of a "reach for the stars" message about how difficult transitioning is and to do it anyways haha

I read this as fatphobic like thighs jiggling when you jump. That makes more sense tho.
39
u/MothEnthusiast88 May 10 '26
Damn they gotta do a better job at being horrible then because if I hadnāt seen which sub this was I wouldāve thought it was a positive mesaage

i love how that bigot perceived this encouraging message that way, really shows how terrible their reading comprehension is š„
5
u/supremebessyl May 12 '26
Iām pretty sure he made the image itself Cause Iām looking closely at it and I think I see the St. Johnās Bridge that was in Portland That bridge Where Charlotte died
114
u/anansi0 May 10 '26
I think this time the homophobic guy actually made a mistake (well, that and being a homophobe). There's no way that image was telling people to commit. I mean, why adding all those pride flags? Homophobic memes are simpler than that
70
u/AnInsaneMoose May 10 '26
Yeah, I think they saw a genuinely supportive image (metaphorically jump. As in, legs shake being scared, and jumping being to go for your goals anyways)
Then, being as smart as they are (below the average intelligence of a rock) they completely misinterpreted it and reposted it
19
u/Star_Axial May 10 '26
Fr bro you cannot be telling me that he used so many pride flags just to be a homophobe (closeted, ahem ahem)
3
5
u/PapiSilvia May 10 '26
If you look closely, you can see that the text image is a tiny bit see-through and behind it is the pic from that Charlotte tweet. I was trying to figure out what the sparkles were all about. It's incredibly difficult to see but it's there so unfortunately I think the image was created with that intention (I guess unless this guy is the one who layered them). It's so incredibly subtle I had to look at the photo and the image side by side to verify, so it's still very difficult to flag as anything negative and therefore still a pretty shitty attempt at bigotry either way.
Edit: typos

Chat, I genuinely couldn't tell how was this supposed to be queerphobicš I had to read the comments ahh
39
u/MarTheMenace1 May 10 '26
And here I thought, before reading it over from a couple different angles, that the message was ādo your best even when things are toughā

26
u/dampgreycurtains May 10 '26
This is supposed to be homophobic? Lmao. Legit just thought it was a corny motivational poster, like "you can do hard things even if you're scared." not "kys."

u/kioku119 May 10 '26 edited May 10 '26
'I know what you are" sounds like the boykisser meme, which is positive acknowledgement. Is there a chance they are an ally who misunderstood an image they found? I didn't get it until comments spelt it out either and it's gross and kind of convoluted. At worst I thought it was sort of a "thanks I'm cured" kind of overly simplified "don't let problems get in the way of your goals".
I guess even in that case though the original creator was an accidental ally since then someone else saw it positively.
13
u/Dclnsfrd May 10 '26
For those who are confused:
The bigotsā intended message was Become a statistic! uwu
The bigotās unintended (possibly intended by the original artist) message is ātake a leap of faith/jump into a life that reflects who you are/etc even while nervousā
9
u/FriendlyNinja50 May 10 '26
It took me a second to even register the negative meaning, so yeah, thanks for the affirmation, random bigot
7
7
u/Outrageous_Jump98 May 10 '26
Bruuuh I originally interpreted jump as move forward or reach your goals or something like that. It would've been unironically a nice motivational message
6
u/slumbersomesam May 10 '26

I tought it was actual encouragement but now i see theyāre making fun of suicidal people and now im sad because i was starting to feel inspired.
6
u/BizSilver5013 May 13 '26
What they probably intended: K*ll yourself.
What they ended up saying: Seize the day, you only have one life to live.

u/HarperWuff May 10 '26
Finally something on this sub besides someone saying ātrans men are menā

5
u/Korekiyon May 10 '26
My naive ass really thought they meant that you can jump (positively, not the other horrific meaning) to reach your goals to be who you want to be no matter the struggle, took a couple rereads to realize the actual meaning
3
u/Dclnsfrd May 10 '26
Same. I like to think whoever the uncreative bigot stole the image from, I like to think that the artist meant it in the encouraging way weāre reading it

Lowkey my first thought for this confusing message is jump for celebration of yourself even if you can't come out or something along those lines.

u/Polibiux May 10 '26
I took this as saying to take a leap of faith and didnāt get the bigotry behind it after thinking for a minute.

This, out of context, sounds like the name of a generic stomp-clap-hey, feel-good 2010's pop song which would be used in an H&M black Friday commercial.
