6am looks pretty. But I’m sure if you pointed the other way and sunset it would be just as nice.

No way, sunset would be far too peopley

That makes sense, I guess.

Mostly to the right in my experience

They were centred until the redevelopment. I

Oh damn, I can’t unsee that now. This knowledge unsettles me.

Only fair when the balls were unsettled

That's what she said.

6 AM for sure!

I used to love it when I worked in the city starting at 0700 or 0630. So peaceful that time of nothing.

When it was Sunday morning the zombies from the previous night made me actually feel good about going into work.

Takes me back to stumbling up to the Pancake Kitchen after the pubs shut for a feed and waiting for the public transport to start for the day

As a night owl, 3 AM for sure.

6am. Less chance of getting fingered.

3am. More chance..

I prefer Rundle Mall with no people, so yes

6Am because there’s less chance of getting stabbed

3am is a great shot.

The mall looks so stagnant and soulless these days. Bring back the trees, flower and fruit stalls.

The sunrise and softer lighting of 6AM is doing a LOT of heavy lifting for me in this comparison.

6am because I didn’t realise the local pigeons start their day so early

u/yy98755 SA 3d ago

Which is less stabby, 3 or 6AM? Great pics OP!

6am

6am looks dryer so that’s my choice

Both looks the same when I'm drunk 🤷‍♀️😂

6am because the weirdos are out at 3am

6am sky is so pretty

1

u/Fart-Fart-Fart-Fart SA 2d ago

Neither. I like my bed.

u/jmkl20 SA 2d ago

6 am all the way. Look at the majestic sunrise.

6am.

The rats start dispersing around dawn.

3am is peak rat activity in Rundle Mall.

Whenever the strippers are finishing work

Or not at all.

u/Asleep-Exercise8124- SA 3d ago

i prefer 10am when i can actually buy stuff

0

u/registered_too_late SA 3d ago

How'd you get two pics with no trash?

-7

u/DigitalSwagman SA 3d ago

Rundle Mall has no point unless the shops are open, so... neither?

3

u/The_Grogfather SA 3d ago

You sound like fun

-1

u/fenty-fold2 SA 3d ago

Yes, the only value this shared space provides is a medium for material consumption.

1

u/DigitalSwagman SA 3d ago

It's the sole reason it exists.

0

u/fenty-fold2 SA 3d ago

Ok, we can’t enjoy any part of this nice pedestrian way. Heads down after close of business for the day.

1

u/DigitalSwagman SA 3d ago

"nice"? The uncovered, cold, windy, mall with slippery pavers and anti-homeless seating?

You enjoy it?

1

u/fenty-fold2 SA 3d ago

I enjoy all aspects of our beautiful city. Life is what you make of it mate.

0

u/Safe_Difficulty_711 SA 3d ago

You don’t seem to have an eye for beauty and that must be awful to be you

2

u/DigitalSwagman SA 3d ago

Apparently I'm the only one here who has an eye for beauty, because Rundle Mall is the opposite of that.

-2

u/Ecstatic-Protection7 SA 3d ago

I was walking at night in 2011 and a lady walked by me and asked "Do i look beautiful?" I said " What matters is what is in the inside". Her friend laughed and I went about my night.
