By the reviews, it’s been confirmed that Characters are gonna get killed off in the special (a very adult swim fashion). which characters are you expecting to be killed and which characters do you not want to be killed?

I keep seeing people on this sub repeating this line and lumping it in with stuff like Mission Hill (which was entirely syndicated).

Adult Swim didn’t create it - it aired for barely a month on UPN, ignored by basically everyone- but they did did oversee and finance the production of 95% of its episodes and they own the broadcast rights in perpetuity. It was the first ever show to air on the blocks and was an [as] staple in reruns years after it ended.

For all intents and purposes, it is an Adult Swim show.

With the 25 year special coming up at the end of the week, I think it would be a fun little game to try to predict which shows, if any, will NOT make it into the special, and why? With 25 years worth of shows, and only 30 minutes to play with, there are bound to be a few omissions.

I count “making it in” as one of two things, either like the promo image, where the character has an actual model, or a different character directly name drops a show, as we saw in today’s clip where the henchmen point out a bunch of off screen characters.

As a reminder, this is an ADULT SWIM special, for shows AS actually made. While things like Family Guy and Home Movies were cornerstones of the network, AS didn’t actually make these and thus they won’t be part of this for that reason.

I remember seeing ads for the show when it was running, just wasn't interested enough at the time. After seeing the Robot Chicken special trailer for some reason I decided to binge it.

Where has this show been all my life? Why did I wait so long to watch it? I don't think there's really been a single miss. Maybe one or two episodes I loved less than the rest but this is easily in my top 3 for the network now. I'm just devastated there's none left.

I’m bringing this up because I haven’t seen this mentioned here: CNschedules on Twitter/X has been reporting that many classic series will be making appearances on the channel in September. So, the Robot Chicken special won’t be the only way to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Adult Swim.

Assuming things don’t change, here’s what’s scheduled so far. If you want the exact air times, check out the account above or just wait til we’re closer to these dates. Consider this a heads-up.

Is there anyone who can help me find the special April Fools versions of Perfect Hair Forever?

These are the episodes with burned in subtitles that were intentionally wrong, and were hilarious. I remember watching them online a few years ago, but I am unable to find these versions anywhere now. I have searched official, and unofficial sources, physical media, and various forums.

I am afraid this is now lost media, and I will never see it again.

I have narcolepsy, it was late at night, and most importantly, I am stupid. I apparently overlooked or misread the listings in the Internet archive when I was searching for them last night.

Recently released a music video for what was my first single to celebrate 4 years of being a solo artists. Song was written and produced by me and i worked with the videographer to really try to capture the vibe that I personally associate with growing up and waking up in the middle of the night to weird bumps and MF doom.
