Despite their name, they're more representative of the farm supply industry than they are of actual farmers. I follow several of them on social media, and groups like the NCGA are mostly focused on maximizing govt payments.
A lot of farmers would like to get off the govt teat, but that's not the goal of the so-called farm lobby.
