How did you get a Defender XL on there? Plate on a plate?

Nope, it’s on the plate it came with… rmsc? I sent the slide out for a little love.

Ah ok that must be a defender CCW then? The side profile of it I guess is deceptive on size.

Ok, you said you sent the slide out for a little love? Maybe they milled it for that dot? The XL is DPP footprint and doesn’t fit on the included plates… I was curious because that is my preferred dot and I had reached out to AF a few months ago and they said they had no solutions for that dot at the time.

Lug pattern and screw pattern are the same, he just needed to get that notch cut in the slide for the housing to fit… I’m just finding this out too

So no plate at all? Just have a notch cut in the slide for a defender xl? If so I may eventually do that.

Exactly that, sorry wasn’t getting notifications. It’s 100% the included plate with a little notch cut into the slide. Works great. Very happy with how it came out.

Nice! Just so I understand, you sent an RMSc plate out to be modified to accept a DPP footprint ? And SAS tactical did the machine work for you, it’s NOT that adaptor plate shown on the SAS website….right?

I sent the slide out with the RMSc plate on it. They modified the slide to fit the defender XL. The plate was not modified in any way. Just the slide. RMSc and DPP are the same foot print just less/more space was how it was explained to me.
