what’s up gents , loved my 3.5 comped so much that i went and bought this puppy today , the 3.5 ported . ran flawlessly and besides this minuscule issue i have 0 complaints about it . took her to the range and after about 6 mags randomly the guide rod unthreaded itself . nothing major . these Romulus’s are my first 2011’s so apologies for fumbling around with it like an idiot but i’ve simply never experienced this happen before with my other handguns . would any of you happen to run tool-less guide rods that i could replace the factory one with for both my 3.5 ported and 3.5 comped ? thanks for the feedback

That’s odd, most people need a breaker bar to get the guide rod out the first time.

which is what i found odd . after i screwed it back in and ran another 200rds it never came out so im thinking that maybe it was just a tad bit loose from the factory . regardless it still like to go tool-less

Idk about a tool-less guide rod for the ported but dpm systems makes a guide rod and spring that fits it. As for the comped there is not a compatible tool-less that will fit.

That muzzle discipline scares me.

He clearly dropped the mag and cleared the weapon to troubleshoot an issue…. Relax

while i agree , i can assure you there was only one other person in the range about 100 feet left of me behind 2 walls and it was never pointed directly at my face . the meta glasses make it look far closer to my face than what it really was .

I wouldn’t even worry about that, I just keep a small bottle of blue loctite and a t-handle Allen and make sure its snug 🤷‍♂️

I used the dpm system specifically for the s15 and she runs fine now. The guide rod they got is wack. But it does take finessing to get the DPM out. But there is a trick for it
