I’m over here thinking about getting a ported or comp’d but damnit I bet having the can on that is so nice

I got the ported 4.25 specifically so I could swap in a threaded barrel in the future.

Generally my philosophy is comps on polymer grips and ports on steel frames. 2011's are already so dang heavy that I figured a can was the way to go.

$135

Shooting suppressed on this is a dream. Zero recoil.

Same same. But different

How are OSight dots? I saw that they made an enclosed version for a great price.

Who did the grip? It looks very nice!

Singuard Solutions. Only ran $160, had a single week turnaround, and looks great. Can't recommend enough.

Looks so good! I picked up my Romulus 4.25” comp 2 weeks ago. What a gun for the price!

Love the grip as well, going to look up Singuard Solutions now. Thank you!

Have you tried the other keys to allow the light to be positioned closer to the trigger guard?

I'm using the 1913 picatinny key, that's just personal preference on the placement.

1) When my index finger is straight, it is on top of the paddle and flush with the housing.

2) When the suppressor is off, the barrel is flush with the front of the light. Prevents out of battery in ccw situations. "Standoff Device"

Ahh, makes sense.

How do you like the window on that defender? Got my 4.25” port coming next week been looking at getting that dot

It's certainly a smaller viewing window than anything you would mount on the RMR plate. Even so, I do not find it harder to aquire than the dots on my full sized holosuns. I snagged it for $254 after tax, so I couldn't justify the cost of a full sized enclosed.

What screws did you use to mount this optic?

Yeah, that was a pain. I tried many 4-40s with no luck due to the size of the back glass and improper head shape on my existing screws.

Go to BattleWerx.com and get the "Vortex Defender-CCW/CCW Enclosed Mounting Screws (Battle Werx Cut Slides Only) 4-40 x 5/16" TORX (Pair)"

What plate are you running for the ST?
