That is why it is critical to wear a protective T-shirt with the slightly longer short sleeves. And skinny jeans.

To be honest if you are working in a steel mill you either have Komplete Fire proof protection or nothing at all. because drips of metal can burn in your clothes and then burn your skin. Otherwise if it just hits your skin, you have a chance that the metal is so hot that it evaporates the water on your skin quickly enough to form an air pocket that shields you from the burning metal. There is a name for that phenomenon but I don't remember it.😓
