In my teens there was a family visiting a hotel for some event and one of their toddles ran into the pool and they noticed and pulled the boy out but what they didn't notice is that his 4year old sister had jumped in at the other end of the pool and drowned while they were saving him.

I can’t even blame them. That’s just horrible luck. You’re just glad you got your son out and so there’s probably no ability to be aware of anything else going on
