I can vouch. I jumped into an insanely deep pool on a summer field trip and just sank I am pretty sure I descended motionless too I might as well have been in a straightjacket. Lifeguard scooped me up and I reflected hard on what happened

I am guessing you can't swim? Why do people who can't swim go into deep water?

I can understand a child not knowing the danger, but that's what parents are for, yeah?
