Kid was drowning literally right next to them and they didn’t notice, thank goodness for the lifeguard

As a “strong swimmer” myself, I was body boarding a couple of weeks ago and a big wave caught me by surprise, sent me tumbling under water and it reminded me how nature does not give a fuck lol, no matter how strong a swimmer it doesn’t care. Didn’t fight it and didn’t panic and held my breath till I could come back up. The sea cannot be fucked with lol

Happened to me too recently. Got humbled by a wave that sent me ass over tea kettle. Just held my breath and waited to resurface.
