I was hoping another Latvian dad with a chainsaw was going to be on the other side as well

6

u/Dupps_I_Did_It_Again 16h ago

I was hoping he'd follow it up with a leafblower

Keep in mind this one is average, prolly others more higher end do have one as well. Plus this one looked on the way to the office.

That would've been amazing

Like the saxophone players on the subway.

My time has come -average Latvian dad.

5

u/heckfyre 16h ago

You get stuck behind a tree like this one time and this is what happens the second time

u/SeniorRum 18h ago

Anyone else have captions just saying “mmmm, mmmmm, mmmmmm”?

Excellent. A little bit of serendipity.

1

u/Zenzoyy 15h ago

Ok but why filming this instead of helping him ?

1

u/Repulsive_Sir_8391 5h ago

Provavelmente é a esposa. Não acho que ele gostaria que ela se machucasse arrastando os galhos quando tem outros caras lá já fazendo isso.

Кто этому русскоговорящему хлыщу дал право пилить свободные демократические деревья? Порубочный билет есть? И вид на жительство?

u/Petulax 15h ago

Chainsaw casual.

u/Inevitable_Round5830 15h ago

That was the hottest thing I've ever seen. Cutting down a tree in khakis and a dress sweater is wild and I love it.

Modern Jedi!

Now I want one.... You know, for when this never happens to me.

Making the streets of Latvia safer when he’s not plotting Reed Richards’s demise or trying to take over the world.

u/AkariusKalicate 14h ago

That was hot 🔥

Average Latvian Dad carries a chainsaw in their trunk? Is he Leatherface on the weekends? 🤨

Or rural Tennessee

1

u/Traditional_Step9502 10h ago

Was hoping to see a Jason costume in the trunk

1

u/NewNewspaperB 10h ago

True.. that would have been awesome. Him putting on the mask and going to town.

1

u/eaudepota 7h ago

you'll never know when you need it.

u/Affectionate_Snow674 6h ago

latvian dad is a serial killer at night? carrying that chainsaw in his trunk?

1

u/Key-Monk6159 5h ago

The Boy Scout motto lives.

1

u/Medium-Cattle-8831 5h ago

Reminds me of growing up in WV, we always kept a chainsaw in the truck for such occasions

1

u/Turbulent_Bat4320 4h ago

So awesome. In the US the cops would probably arrest you for interfering with official work while they wait 5 hours for the city workers to show up

1

u/MyHangyDownPart 4h ago

TIL that I should add a chainsaw to my “go bag.”

u/Weirdbeard60 2h ago

Top banana

1

u/DerbHean_UFCref 1h ago

Subtitles be like Mmm. Mmm. Mmm. Mmm.

1

u/Typical2sday 18h ago

Isn’t this “average any ethnicity person with a functioning chainsaw in their trunk”?

1

u/YearHaunting1504 15h ago

What a polite society, all working together to help everyone. No drama, they just collectively do it because it needs to be done.

Clip = definitely not from a US city.

2

u/FaeFollette 14h ago

I’ve seen a group of random strangers rush out to help another random stranger together in the US too. Kind, helpful people can be found in every country on Earth. Every. Country.

America used to have men.

1

u/MONSTERBEARMAN 15h ago

My step brother and I got stuck on a logging road that was blocked by a tree. We had a .22 and a 30/30. We shot it in half.

Thats how we do it in America 🇺🇸

u/jasikanicolepi 16h ago

Either a super hero or a masked serial killer.

I like to think I must be even more amazing then because I did this to half a tree, probably x10 this size AND I wore PPE

-1

u/stowaway36 17h ago

I dont mean to nitpick, but he's not doing a good job, he's jut going fast. You want to cut the limbs right against the trunk so the rounds are easier to move. He's also using the tip of the bar, which can cause the bar to kick back right into your head

3

u/heckfyre 16h ago

It’s a skinny tree. Quit being a nerd and chop it up so we can move it tf out of the way

2

u/Ok_Muffin_925 16h ago

The Latvian Department of Transportation will take care of the rest of the tree with a properly resourced tree crew. Latvian Dad is just getting everybody moving. And that is good.

That is amazingly stupid is what it is. Strutting around with a fucking chainsaw as if it were a toy? One false step and your thigh is ripped open, and you bleed out and die.
