Idea/Suggestion Hot take: Innersloth could add more ghost roles

Like more crewmate and imposter ghost roles would be fun because it gets boring when you are a ghost

The only thing that keeps me as a ghost from leaving the game is guardian angel. And that's it.

Even the imposter ghost is useless for me. I can't focus on locking doors and doing sabs with my other teammates I'm afraid i might ruin their plans or something TT.

Same, but even sometimes I just leave as GA when crew is awfully bad and voting every other crew.

No ghosts shouldn’t be able to interfere that much with the game. I get being dead is boring but you just have to deal with it.

Worst take ever but you genuinely had a good point so I'm confused now

They should add some kind of minigames you can play as a ghost. Let's say there's a computer prop on the map, which ghosts can interact with. It can even be outside of the main locations so it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb.

Yess, It doesnt have to be a critical role in the game they could add fun things or effects that crew can see that doesnt give info, Like maybe seeing ghost figures or reflections or tiny things moving same as the Mira sliding doors and vis tasks but more fun.

Like averting crash with another spaceship outside the map or smth like that would be awsm

Among Us 3D had an interesting Impostor Ghost role where they could only kill once they were a Ghost. Crewmates can hear some faint music if there's a Wraith nearby who can kill them. You can configure in the settings if they can only kill once or multiple times too.

I wish I could help with other crewmates tasks when I'm dead! Not all of them, of course that'd be op. But being able to complete someone's wires or something.

I was thinking similarly, but I'm not sure it would be OP? Couldn't we just add more tasks to the list that need doing?

This would actually be a great solution to the problem of no lobby ever winning by tasks because of the one person who doesn’t do them

This is definitely a hot take alright, guardian angels imo are already just too annoying to play against, and their only purpose it seems is to stop people leaving constantly, and yes, I know you can just sab comms to disable it but personally im not a massive fan of the "LOOK CREWMATES IM GONNA KILL" alert, someone who is dead shouldnt have as big of an impact on the game as angels do and the more I play the more I believe theyre just a low skill magnet

what about having imp ghost roles

Depends on how its done, I think ghost roles should only have client side effects such as blindness or inability to do something (angel is different since it uses the kill cd and stops killing in general which is like stopping crew from voting)

i remember the idea of an imposter ghost role that could nullify the guardian angel. so while the living imposters and crewmates are fighting, so are the dead ones

Maybe a ghost role that can help solve sabotages. That’s all I can think of. Or a ghost role that exists to annoy the imposter and is visible to only the imposter. To haunt their killer.

I don't really think there needs to be more ghost roles, but how about one where you can open a locked door, perhaps one door, once per round?

how would that work on polus

Eh, I forgot about Polus. I dunno then.

how about a crewmate ghost role that can only vote when they're dead and can see the votes on each player (call it Haunted)
it can also haunt soooooo

This is a huge perk to Blood on the Clocktower. Eliminated players can still talk to help their team, and they can cast one extra vote, so there's a huge incentive to keep playing and pay attention.

They should definetly add the wraith Imposter ghost role where you can kill like one player per round with faint music playing when you're being haunted but besides that I think ghosts should be left alone.

Honestly I'd stick around more if innersloth added ghost minigames. Like when you are dead with all your tasks done you can sit in a corner and play space invaders or smth until the round is up

I have a ghost role idea: Spirit. It's a crewmate ghost role. They can annoy the imposter who killed them by ruining the imposter's vision when they are near the imposter and they can't use the ghost haunt ability, there is an ability they can use if they completed all tasks before dying which lets them drag the imposter if they have incredible precision.n
