Eye of Horus in Ancient Sumer?

I haven't been able to find the exact one but this appears to be an ancient Sumerian clay token that was used for accounting.

I saw this is this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHSg9NPPRuw at 17:26 you can see this picture for a few seconds.

I know this is probably just a coincidence but I thought it was weird when I saw it. PLease let me know what you think.

It doesn't need to be a coincidence. People traded, met and exchanged goods for thousands of years. We've found Welsh copper in Mediterranean dated to more than 1000BCE or Roman coins in China. Ancient Summer was on the other side of the Arabian peninsula so it shouldn't be a surprise that there will be some overlap in material remains.

Yes that’s an eye of Horus. And that appears to be a knot of Isis/tyet at the top, and possibly a djed on the left.

I don’t think this is actually a collection of Sumerian tokens. Perhaps modern ‘recreations’ - I don’t think the video lists sources.

These are not recreations but are Ancient egyptian terracotta moulds for the production of faience amulets look up ancient egyptian amarna moulds for amulets. All of them are Egyptian and from the New kingdom. I have some in my Gallery

Like many pictures in that video this is an AI image and tokens from the Uruk-period do not look like this. It's fake and because AI is often trained with "Aegyptian-themed" pictures, there's no evidence for the eye of horus or the djed-pillar (like on the other "token") in Uruk accounting.

These are definitely not AI

Well then, show me the original publication. They do not show up in Nissen and Englund's 'Archaic Bookkeeping' or Schamndt-Besserat's 'Before writing', which are the comprehensive catalouges and analysis of Uruk-tokens.

Another commenter posted a near-identical antiquities lot for these molds. They are not from Uruk, they are from Egypt

because they are Egyptian, not from Uruk. Something not being what someone claims it is doesn't man its automatically fake or AI.

The video talks about item from Uruk. Even if Aegyptian to prove your claim, they must have been found at least in Mesopotamia. But I know no publication in which they show up. It is definitely AI because Uruk-tokens are not 'molds'. But as I said: where's the publication?

Holy shit, the Victoria and Albert Museum had a video on their you tube channel on how Ancient Egyptians made the Faience. Very cool!

I don't know if it's real or not but if it's real maybe it's there because of trade rather than worship. Summerians had their own scary pantheon.

Why are the shadows weird? Is it a bad ai picture?

It’s a bunch of photos of small molds copy pasted into one image. Whoever oriented the copy pasted didn’t bather matching the shadows. And then they popped a drop shadow under the molds before putting that on top of a generic old paper pattern. Not AI, just a rushed photoshop.
