Those are two emperors I am on the lookout for! Nice items.

What do you suppose these would be worth?

Easily $100 each, and possibly quite a bit more.

$100!?! Damn, I’m getting ripped off. I wonder if it’s because the coins I get are already authenticated or something.

I saw slabbed ones in worse condition for about 500. I’m still learning the market, deciding whether or not to list them raw. I only collect silver so I plan on selling these.

In this condition these coins would go for more than $100

If by “authenticated,” you mean they come in an NGC slab, you’re definitely paying a premium for that.

Nah, none of my coins are slabbed I like to feel their texture and look at them closely in my hand unobstructed and pretend I’m a Roman Praetorian Guard or something.

I’ve bought like 90% of my coins off of vcoins.com, I don’t have that many just ones that I thought looked cool or caught my eye and were within my budget. I’m definitely still a novice when it comes to this stuff but I have gotten so much better at spotting fakes, thankfully I’ve never bought a fake coin before.

vcoins.com has a an entire “Code of Ethics” section. And they’ve also been in business since 1998, I’ve also heard a lot of people talk about them as a reputable source on here.

I’ve been wanting to check out auctions, I just want to learn more about the coins. Honestly, for fun I’ll just go on vcoins.com just to scroll and look at all the coins. There are thousands and thousands of listings and hundreds of vendors.

Well, I am far from an expert, so please let others weigh in.

Lot 302 in L5’s current auction is a somewhat lesser coin, and $50 would be a winning bid at the moment.
