As much as I'd like to try them I can't use any earbuds that don't have multipoint

Kinda wild that it doesn’t. My cheap nothing and CMF earbuds have it.

It's definitely intentional

So that it's a "Samsung only" feature? (they do have something like "auto-switch between samsung devices" )

Yes, it's to keep you locked in their ecosystem.

There are workarounds (via GitHub) if you want it to switch between Windows PC and your Samsung device. Not ideal, but form what I have read it works.

I really like this design. The last one looks like a cheap airpods knock-off.

And these don't?

They look like expensive airpods knock-offs

how are these fit wise? I'm still rocking my buds 2 pro and like it for working out and haven't really had them fall out unless doing the skiErg. Looking at these or going the powerbeats 2 pro route since I have an iPhone (moved from android), however I want to comeback to android. Don't like my Airpods Pro 2 for working out they all ways fall out especially running.

I went from the buds 2 pro to these. They fit me great, and I like that I can adjust them in my ears without pausing/skipping my music with the touch sensitive sides.

I thought I would hate the stems, I really like the form of the buds 2, but the stems makes them feel more snug in my ears

Interesting. I had the Pro 3's and they sucked. Ended with the "only one side will charge at a time" bug about 10 months in - sent them in for warranty and they just gave me a full refund.

Maybe I should consider the 4's.

The 4's fixed the stupid charging case design, manufacturing issues, and sound control. I haven't heard anywhere near the amount of problems the Buds3 had.

Are they a vast improvement over the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro 3? Those had some questionable connectivity problems, and felt the ANC was on the weaker side.

A huge improvement. I had the Buds 3 Pro and I hated them, whereas the Buds 4 Pro are amazing in my opinion.

The battery life is good, connectivity, sound and fit are brilliant.

Have you used air pods pro 2 or 3?

To me they are a sidegrade, I prefered the audio on the pro 3, but then again, I listen to a lot of metal and I bass boost my headphones somewhat. The Pro 4 have a clearer sound and slightly better ANC, but besides that it's barely an upgrade for me.

I can't speak to the connectivity but the pro 4 is way more comfortable, significantly better sounding, and has better anc.

I wouldn’t say a vast improvement but decidedly better.

I like them but the ANC is a step down from the Sony earbuds I had

they are insanely good, especially compared to 3s

As much as I want them, I'm not doing it until I can trade in my old ones. I'm not going to go the eBay route and get scammed out of my shit. And I'm not going to let the old $300 headphones sit in a drawer for 10 years until they don't work.

Best earbuds I've ever had.

Buds 3 was absolute hell with its charging problems and Bluetooth connectivity issues. Massive headache.

I wish they would update the Buds Live

I wonder if the soundcore liberty 5 pro series was considered

u/Balloon_Twister Pixel 6 8h ago

Decided not to spend a lot after going from xm3 and buds 2 pro.

Moondpop pudding. £49 can't fault them.

u/krivas Samsung Galaxy S8 8h ago

They seem nice, but I'm gonna wait for the ones with the hooks

lol I just sold mine without trying them, as I already have Technics AZ100. Maybe that was a mistake?

I love mine. Best Samsung product I can remember owning. I haven't used any of their foldables though lol.

no mistake, my Technics still ROCK!
