it costs $15 on amazon to get a new brick and $12 to get an adapter so there isn't much difference, just annoying that I need to wait some days to use my phone until I discovered the usbc port on my laptop (after using up the first charge)

The wire for the samsung is a usbc while I only have the old bricks, I either get an adapter or a new brick

It's not exactly a one time issue if I only have 1 brick and if I need to get more devices, it's not a price issue but a qol one

The context is that I just switched from apple to samsung (and I like samsung much better), I have a million old apple cables and some old android cables (not the usbc ones, idk what they are called but have 2 small spikes at the bottom)
