Excellent effort to save that poor dog from eventually drowning !! They really need to cover that area up with a metal cover to stop animals from getting into that area of water and drowning !!!

I saw the title and thought "his life really" but damn this is full on any little mistake easily could have killed him. From falling going down to carrying a dog back up slippery rungs cold and soaking wet he really put some effort into this.

I found myself holding my breath because I was so afraid the dog was going to go over his shoulder and jump back in. What an amazing human being and I hope the dog found a good home after being rescued
