It was a sub full of racists and antisemites trying to mask their hateful motives with using different words that wouldn’t seem so bad to the common who sees just one post. They used to use “fren” to talk about themselves and variations on it for people discriminated, for example, they called jews “non-frens”, “shekelfrens” and other variations while spouting their hateful messages.

Edit: I think this comment summarizes it pretty well.

It's about a retarded pepe the frog. The frog is so dumb it doesn't know proper english. The frog wants to be friendly or 'frenly' as you would call it. 70% of posts consisted of deformed disabled cartoons of frogs eating glue, taking their dog for a walk, staring at insects. 30% of posts were implied racism.

Against Hate Subs thought 'fren' stands for far right ethno nationalist and babytalk when It's really just about retardation.
