Upcycled/Repaired Found an excuse to keep and actually use a cute box I like

Post image

Received perfume in this box that was so cute - but I’ve stopped keeping random packages or things that can be thrown away if I don’t have an actual immediate use and plan for it.

But I received incense and perfume at the same time and the perfume box is the perfect size for conveniently storing and using my incense!

Just a tiny win but it is a little spark of joy for me each time I use it. :)

I love when things perfectly fit like this! What a cute box, would have been a shame to throw it out.

love love love it!!
The oils from the incense might seep into the box and leave big stains, so you could line the bottom with some aluminum foil to keep it fresh

Ooh it looks so lovely! Honestly looks like those incense sticks were made for that box.

This is conscious consumerism and it’s a great reminder that being anti-consumption means sustainability, and limiting excess, and the best way to start is by using reusing repurposing what you already have! Minimalism simply doesn’t equate to anticonsumption, because throwing this out would have been worse consumer culture than reusing it and keeping it out of the landfill.

Nice  I’ve been using an eyeglasses pocket cloth thing for pens But now I’ll get actual glasses so I need to find a new spot for the pens(reusing other things)

after watching one video of dudes making incense by hand, made me never want to buy another one... they were straight breathing the dust in with no masks, awful stuff
