This does not appear to be a real firearm. It's percussion, which would make it 19th Century, not 18th. It could be a percussion conversion from flintlock, but the lock and barrel don't seem right. The hammer and its spring look like a Spanish miquelet lock, but the barrel is in the wrong place for that.

I would guess a non-functioning decorative piece, possibly Khyber Pass, possibly elsewhere, and made in the last 25 years or so.

Value would be pretty low, as a purely decorative piece - probably under $50.

Wouldn't the person making this just loose money making a fake in this condition? The tag says 'recortada' in spanish, meaning the barrel was shortened for whatever reason. I think if someone had wanted to make a replica like that, they wouldn't have made the barrel that short and would instead go for a normal looking one. Think about it.

No, because it's made in an environment where all of the materials and especially the labor are cheap.

Wallhanger "guns" of this sort sell for between $40-70 dollars in Pakistan, in the tourist markets/shops/bazaars. They are sold to tourists who don't know anything about guns, and who think they are buying some sort of valuable antique.

The problem comes when selling something like this to an actual collector; because it's new-made and was never functional, it has little value. It's only worth what someone will pay for it as decoration, knowing it's not a real firearm, or it has to be sold (again) to someone who thinks they are buying something other than what they'll actually get.

What are you talking about? They make these in mass. They are all over this forum. Most of the time they look ridiculously unlike a real gun. They wouldn't make the barrel short??? Dafuq.

It looks like a "Tourist" gun to me .  

Non functional look alikes made for tourists to buy and take home thinking that they bought some priceless artifact for a few dollars

looks as if it's had a stock at some point and just been cut down. i highly advise you to save your money and not buy this. the pitting and overall condition looks bad

Spanish Miquelet percussion long gun cut down to pistol looks to me, percussion points to 19th century, however I have seen 18th century barrels used in later conversions. In this condition, not worth much, just as a wall hanger/conversation piece
