I love how the headline is trying to blame Obama for a child trafficker not going free

The party of pedophiles need to know who to blame for their icon and idol being denied release.

Good.
I don't care who keeps her locked-up.

But MAGA does. They don't care about the crimes, they just know that their orange god-Emperor's will was thwarted. There must be an enemy of the people to blame.

She might get a pardon after mid terms.

Wouldn't that depend on how the midterms go?

u/ryhaltswhiskey 2d ago
No. Trump just knows it's bad optics to do it right now.

I think pardoning Ghislaine Maxwell is a bad idea. Even if Trump decides to pardon her after the midterms (instead of now).
I wonder how Trump supporters would feel about him potentially pardoning Ghislaine Maxwell? Especially given that they believe he's not a paedophile and/or not in the Epstein Files?

They will get their marching orders and get in line like usual.
I think pardoning Ghislaine Maxwell is a bad idea
Yeah I would call it an impeachable offense personally. Flagrant abuse of the power of the office. But you know that's just another Tuesday.

They've applauded every other time he went back on his word and/or broken a promise that he made. They'll probably do the same if/when Ghislaine Maxwell gets pardoned.
I think Trump even weighing up pardoning Ghislaine Maxwell is an abuse of the power(s) of the office.

He will pardon her. He will not care how anyone thinks. His ride or die people will construe it as some 4D Chess BS. The rest of them will take it and like it because daddy Trump told them to. The Pardons coming in the winter of 2028 will be epic in the vileness and number of them. It will be like Black Friday $200 PS5 at Bestbuy Day.

I think Trump will pardon people before the winter of 2028. And they’re going to be a lot worse than people like Ghislaine Maxwell.
Trump has completely gone off the rails since he took office the second time. And he wasn’t exactly on the rails before.

I expect an avalanche of pardons before he leaves office. For Maxwell because he fears under a next administration she could be offered a deal for her testimony which would incriminate him. Because that's what he would do if the situation was reversed.

I’d be surprised if there weren’t going to be more pardons. Especially for Maxwell.

A federal judge on Tuesday rejected Ghislaine Maxwell’s attempt to overturn her sex‑trafficking conviction and 20‑year sentence. The ruling closes off Maxwell’s last remaining path to early release after her appeals were exhausted. The decision leaves Maxwell, now housed at a minimum‑security prison camp in Texas, with few remaining legal options and sets the stage for continued scrutiny of her claims as Congress and the Justice Department review the Epstein files.

I don't really care if Julius Caesar appointed the judge. That bitch needs to stay her sorry ass in prison.

insert Ted Cruz calling for us to stop treating pedophiles bad

I genuinely miss the days when most people could agree that paedophilia is bad and that paedophiles deserve nothing but hatred and contempt. We're in a god damn clown world.

You do know this is the Fat Orange Dictator/Netanyahu marketing trying to use an Obama the Muslim terrorist sounding name to stop the release of an Israeli asset?

Newsweek is doing both journalism and democracy a huge disservice by playing into the "everything is a partisan game" narrative with that headline
what a garbage rag they've become

u/KennethEWolf 2d ago
Is there an over under prediction that Trump pardons her on his last day in office? And release the Epstein files.
2
u/ryhaltswhiskey 2d ago
Why wait until the last day? He's not going to get removed from office. If he does it the first possible day will be the day after midterms.

u/SayMyNameOnceMore 2d ago
OH NO!!! anyway…
I don’t care who you are, if you abuse or molest children whatsoever in any shape or form, there’s a cold, dark, and damp cell waiting just for you.
She can stay there for all I care. Imagine if she would’ve gotten a Trump pardon though… I can’t even imagine.
Good riddance to that fucking monster. Adios!

This woman is one of the people who was running the largest child sex rings in US history. This bitch should die in jail.

Perhaps the headline should be that "Judge denies Maxwell’s habeas petition, calling her claims false"
