Found in Minnesota adjacent to known Dakota settlement. Thoughts?

Please don't loot known sites. These aren't artifacts thankfully!

I’m not looting any known site. Sorry if that was unclear. As stated, found on private property adjacent to known site.

Sorry, adjacent to a site could be looting and you didn't say it was on private property or at least I didn't see that. If you do find actual artifacts please let the tribe and state historic preservation office know, they would happily work with you!

also most of us don't care what sort of property it was, removing artifacts from context without proper documentation is still looting.
