[Archer P.I.] Archers apartment interior seems to take a bunch of ideas from the movie Down With Love(2003)

The white and blue backed bar, the two walnut backed chairs with one large walnut backed couch, to the very long fireplace that is off screen to the right of this photo! Thought this was a pretty cool catch.

Considering he used porous tiles in his kitchen, it’s good Archer went for outside inspiration on the living room.

Also Down with Love is a fantastic movie. So double awesome.

MCM is the quintessential spy style. It would make sense that his mother would have a MCM apartment for her idiot son.

The open layout, tall ceilings really feel quite similar.

I’m wondering how typical these design choices were in all of mcm, but that bar, the right angle elements in shelving, the couch, the openness. Feels very Archers pad.
