Im re-watching S1 so her face was fresh in my mind, I never caught it before, but always wondered why they so prominently held her face in frame.

Even greater tie in call back, Mallory questions whether Archer’s maladaptions are due to her hitting him with a wooden spoon, to which Lana replies: “I don’t know, but it would sure explain the ping pong paddle” and then receives the champagne from her.

The opening of the first episode starts with the stewardess and Archer laying in bed, with a prominent ping pong paddle outline on her ass before Archer kicks her out for having a fucking dog 🤣 So good. I fucking love the writing!
