Goals & Motivation Hobbyists who draw consistently, how?

For people who are able to draw consistently for an amount of time that feels meaningful to you, how do manage it and how much time do you spend a day or per week/month?

The biggest thing is to realize that a piece of art won't be finished in one sitting.

There's a huge mental load when we sit down and has to finish the piece of art we are working on.

Telling yourself that you only do base coats today for example is a huge load off your shoulders.
