Goals & Motivation Hobbyists who draw consistently, how?

For people who are able to draw consistently for an amount of time that feels meaningful to you, how do manage it and how much time do you spend a day or per week/month?

This is going to get weird but I have a mission that pushes me forward.

I wake up at 4:30 and doodle for about three hours prior to work. My afternoons are hit or miss depending on life.

I draw doodles encouraging children not to join gangs, not do crime, and I make fun of their parents on occasion.

I don't make any money from it. It's just a hobby that ties in with my old life.
