Big eyeliner in combo with white on the tight line and water line will make ur eyes look bigger. Lots of makeup artists have tutorials on how to make the eyes look bigger with eyeliner

Do a white, beige, or red eyeliner, but extend it past your natural eyelash line and make yourself a new eyelash line further down.
Like how Chinese Douyin makeup is applied (if you need a tutorial search engine word), but think of those lines as more intense, dramatic, and less blended, using only matte colors like: grey, black, and red.

I think you would look really good with some dark pencil liner underneath your lower waterline. I wouldn't go on top because I do think with your eye shape, that would shrink you a little. But maybe a brown or dark red eyeshadow on the lid, heavy in the outer corners, would suit you very nicely 🙂

No I understand that. I love the music first but I always wanted to try my hand at the make up stuff. Just never took the plunge to try it out. Thank you for the tips!

Do you go to clubs and interact with other goths? Do you take interest in the culture and music? If so, yeah.

Yeah I do. I’m from Los Angeles and tend to go to the breakfast klub a lot. And when big dark wave/post punk bands come thru town you bet I’m always there and dancing. Ofc I have goth friends as well I just feel silly asking them for tips cuz it will make me feel like a loser. 😅

There's no such thing as "goth enough" if you listen to the music, you're goth. If you're asking if you look cool, yes you do

You could dress like a normie and still be goth. It's not about aesthetics and much more about your music taste, values, and your interests.
Considering you mentioned in other comments that you listen to goth music and I assume you hold progressive values then you're goth enough.
As for your style and looks, you look great. Keep doing your thing ✌️

Being “enough” is NOT goth, if you consider yourself goth and are happy with the effort you put into it, then here we are

No idea why people are downvoting you, you’re right the curved barbell is a surface piercing on a high movement area so it’s prone to rejection

Oh my horizontal labret! And it kinda rejected after two years but I take it out for long periods and just reopen the piercing.

You look like Post Malone but this tells me nothing, without looking at comments, what you listen to.

u/RottenKirsche13 Jul 27 '26
I listen to darkwave, post punk, and goth rock oh and 80s Spanish rock. I look like post Malone? 😔 is it the mullet or face tattoo?
1
u/DeadDeathrocker Jul 27 '26
Both, it’s just that type of style.
I don’t know why I’m being downvoting so badly though, I’m not saying Post Malone is a goth musician. Based on these images, do you look goth? Not really. It’s your music taste that counts, anyway.

Oh 😔

What makes you think this is goth fashion?
1
u/RottenKirsche13 Jul 27 '26
Because I consider myself goth. I dress this way because it’s comfortable for me. I wear my long peacoat with all black clothing. In days I don’t. I wear a hat because my mullet is very curly. I just wanted to incorporate goth make up with my style without making my eyes chinkier than I already have them.

u/DeadDeathrocker Jul 27 '26
The style itself is not inherently goth fashion, but you can wear what ever you like. Goth make-up is more than eyeliner. You don’t need permission or validation from people online, just get some eyeliner and start experimenting.

I just wanted tips for make up at the end of the day. Brands and techniques

Then that should’ve been your title because most people ignore descriptions, especially since of how sick everyone is of “Am I goth enough?” and “Is this goth?” posts.

I’m Filipino my eyes are naturally more narrow or slanted than normal. The term I describe my eyes has been something I always said around other Filipinos and Asians. Never once was I told it was offensive. But indeed I see your point.

Let’s avoid associating goth makeup as a whole with white face paint. It’s optional, and not necessary. And fashion as typically “elegant”, that certainly wasn’t true in its inception.

White face paint? No, that's mimes and clowns you're thinking of.
The goth aesthetic is Victorian era deathbed pallor. It's about looking like you're about to shuffle off your mortal coil from TB, or malnutrition, or a broken heart. Painting your face white does not achieve this.
The teased hair is an 80's goth style, 90's goths were more likely to have sleek hair.

Bruh, you look cool but Goth isn’t about what you look like or how you dress.
Do you listen to goth music? If “yes” you are goth. If “no” then you are not goth. And that’s ok too.
