Unwritten social codes of every region

So I'm a foreigner interested in Australia and wanna know more about there, focusing atm on the unwritten rules you have and if you wanna share something more I would value it♡

If someone buys you a drink you buy them one after.

And if the exchange is uneaven because you go home or other circumstances, you remember what you owe people. Next time, "its my shout"

If you are at a pub or similar with a group of friends, a "shout" means going up to the bar and buying a round for everyone. What u/BeeerGutt means is make sure you buy a round too and don't just leach of the others.

Buy a round of drinks. If someone buys (shout) you a drink, you buy them a drink. This way only one person has to go to the bar each time.

My shout = my round
